1. Poor customer service
2. Killed a prelaunch sale due to an issue that didn't let me disable the page
A difficult interface at first. hard to understand what you're actually changing as you go. I'm having problems changing font colors on my cart which should be pretty easy. Also, when I try to enter my main site using the protected password nothing happens. Will probably cancel before the free trial expires
Neither of the two themes available on The Coming Soon app work. I've sent 3 emails with no response. I decided to delete the app because it was useless and none of the changes I made appeared on the preview or the actual site. The page is still visible to EVERYONE who visits my website, and I have not launched my coming soon page. After deleting the app and downloading another, it is still there. I need a solutions so I hope someone from the company sees this and can help me as soon as possible.
Thanks, Isabel
Hi Isabel,
Although we replied directly via email about an hour after your issue, I wanted to briefly follow up on this review in case others are running into it as well.
The page referred to in this review is actually the Shopify password protection page, not the Coming Soon page built by this app. This is why you were still seeing it even after deleting the app and installing another. To resolve this issue, you need to first disable the Shopify password protection page, which can be done by following these instructions: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/os/using-themes/change-the-layout/password-page#remove-password-protection-from-your-online-store
Thanks!
Came 1 step in Shopify then this text is all I see: A static HTML page can contain a simple dependency free script to set the top bar to a 500 server error. This page can be found in 'public/500.html'. Ah and the Leave a review button is all I can use so here we are... Won't be buying this software.
Hi Robin,
We greatly appreciate and thank you for your review. Unfortunately our team was pushing an updated version of Coming Soon, and we believe that brief update caused this issue. We wish you could of messaged support, so we could've resolved this within minutes. I tried to get a hold of you personally via 3 emails and 2 phone calls to explain, but no luck. If you'd like to give the new, updated version a chance, we would be more than happy to provide an additional incentive. Our goal has always been to empower store users, so please don't hesitate to follow up.
Thank you,
