Commentify: Customer Comments

One of the best comment apps, but with one caveat: commenters must log in (via Shop account or email). Clicking "add comment" opens a new tab prompting user to log in to your store. You could enable the anonymous option, but they won't get reply alert emails if don't login/register. This increases friction against engagement.

However, I like:
-Can use with FlowMail (from same dev) and Shopify Flow to auto-email commenters when someone replies. (new feature Feb 2026)
-Supports collapsable threads, markdown formatting (hyperlinks, bolding, etc), image upload, upvote/downvote.
-Supports import/export comments. Though import is handled by dev and costs $49.99 one-time fee. Some other apps allow importing CSV at no cost, but you'd need to format it correctly yourself.

Excellent Support and Quick Solutions!
We recently updated several of our website pages for SEO purposes, which caused some of our existing Commentify links to break. The Commentify team quickly stepped in, redirected the links for us, and even added a new tab inside the app so we can easily manage and redirect our own pages moving forward. Everything was handled efficiently and in a very timely manner. Their support went above and beyond our expectations — highly recommend!
