We had used Tawk for over a year, which was an okay system but had many issues that they would never fix.
As our business grew, we decided it was time to use a serious system, so we thought, of course, it had to be Gorgias because the cult following made it sound so amazing. Two weeks in, and we just couldn't stand it, especially for the price; it's totally not worth it.
We quickly started looking for an alternative and came across Commslayer. I really didn't think much at first, but wow! The system is fantastic and easy to install and use. The UX is out of this world. I was up and running in two days with almost everything set up. The app has heaps of features already, but they are all clear and easy to understand and set up.
Sure, the app is not perfect because it's clearly a new app, but if the team keeps going the way they are, the other apps need to really start worrying.
Not to mention, the support from Karri, the founder, is amazing. I'm really rooting for this team and excited to see their growth and updates.
THE. BEST. VALUE. HELPDESK. We've used most of the bigger CS platforms out there, from Zendesk to Gorgias, and while Commslayer may not have all of the features and integrations, the delta is INSANE.
Karri is constantly rolling out new features and changes. Just like how we like to invest in high-delta people, we couldn't be happier with such a crazy high-delta helpdesk. If you're dropping a couple hundred $'s a month on your CS platform and looking for an alternative, you can probably get min 90% of what you're getting with Commslayer. For free. So it's almost infinite value?

Our team setup Commsayer to move from using an email inbox to a help-desk ticket system. Commslayer does that plus integrates social, shopify chat AND has AI reposnder. Plus you can enable a info/faq style section on your site.
These are big store features accessible to anybody now. The pricing cannot be beat.
Note, we've also had a support request that was fairly open ended. Then founder got on a call and walked us through our issue (user error). Every time I've purvhased an app and the support had been like this, that is a good sign.
We migrated from Gorgias a little over a month ago and we're loving our experience so far! Most, if not all, of the same features we had previously at a fraction of the cost. So happy we found Commslayer!!

Excellent product. Karri is incredible responsive to feature requests and the dev team seems committed to making this an excellent app. Very pleased to be migrating from Gorgias.
Perfect for customer support, saves us an absolute fortune compared to other customer support software.
Easy-to-use UI with great features. Updates come in regularly to keep making things better, and the support is always amazing when you need it!
Ummmmm how is this free??? I was skeptical at first, but WoW! Currently it just works, and that is beautiful. No frills. Everything you need in one place, help center, and now more AI features for self service. A-mazing!! If your on the fence from switching from a 'big player' just do it. We used Commslayer to get us through airing on Shark Tank and it works better than Intercom (for what we need) at literally no cost.
It's great! Karri and the team are always improving things too and are highly open to feedback. I've been very impressed after switching from Delightchat.
