I'm sorry to hear your banner design got wiped during the migration, that is definitely not the norm nor what we intended to happen of course. When looking through our support inquiries I can only find tickets from about a year ago from your store, so I'm very sorry, but we haven't received anything from you recently.

We had this app active for a while and only ran into problems. Sometimes updates had to be triggered manually, sometimes we had to reconfigure the settings completely. But the worst part was a serious consent mode issue: after users clicked accept or decline on the cookie banner, the pop-up showed up again on every page change. Our conversion rate dropped from 7% to 2% because of this endlessly repeating banner. There was no way to pause or even disable it temporarily. For me, this app is absolutely not recommendable!

We're very sorry to hear of your issues with our app! It definitely sounds like something went wrong during an app update on your shop. Have you tried contacting our support team to get the issue(s) resolved? We respond within a business day and will do anything to get your shop and cookie banner back to its desired state.

We experienced recurring problems with this app.

One major issue: the cookie banner went offline for a long time because an update was supposed to be triggered manually. Unfortunately, there was no notification about this – you only see it if you actively open the app. This meant our tracking was not working properly for a long time.

Another frustration: technical support is only possible via installing a separate support app. This is very unusual compared to other Shopify apps, where normal backend access is sufficient.

The final straw (and the reason we uninstalled the app): without making any changes in our shop, the cookie banner simply disappeared. It had been active in the settings, yet suddenly our Klaviyo newsletter signup forms were no longer visible in the shop. After some digging, we discovered it was caused by the cookie banner app. As a result, Google Ads performance also dropped drastically since no data was being sent.

In summary, this app caused us significant business damage, and we cannot recommend it.
