I have had this issue for the last 6 months and it has been impossible to get it to fit. I have wasted hours writing to support and nothing has been fixed, just a simple everything is OK. The sync is NOT OK, ITS NOT WORKING SINCE THE BEGINNING.
I have told you what the issue is. When I create a customer in a connect pos, it does not matter if i fill company name, address or city of the customer, it always overwrites it with my store info, and deletes the company name field. I havent been able to create legal invoices correctly for thousands of customers due to this error, that you refuse to look into deeply.
We have been working with ConnectPos for almost two years now. Their customer support has been, and still is, great. The app itself is a pleasure to work with if you need a good Pos system. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Sadly we are still having problems with processing refunds and exchanges. If an item is bought online, you can not process simple exchange in store, you have to refund online order first and then generate brand new sale in store and ask for another payment. A lot of customers are not happy with that, so we have to do it manually on paper, then we have to amend stock levels manually as well. It is too inefficient and causes problems with our book-keeping.
For the refunds, if the customer does not have a receipt (we sell custom-made items so we know they are ours), it is too difficult to locate an original cash sale. Again we have been processing refunds manually on paper, which causes all sorts of problems.
I was assured by the developers that a feature "refund without receipt" will be implemented in the future, but have not been given an indication of the time frame and I do not think it will happen any time soon. This app is great, if you do not need refund or exchange function. But we will be looking elsewhere.

Our Developers are still trying our best to complete the Refund Exchange feature and we are going to release it in the near future.

POS is the best we have used so far! There is a slight learning curve, but the staff is very quick to resolve any issues, even if you are the issue! If you need a desktop based POS system, this is it!

Well, we have only been using it for a week & I'm confident it will be great for us. We use Shopify, which we love; however, we were disappointed they only have apps for a POS system to use on phones & tablets. We had been looking for a long time at alternatives which weren't great, but ConnectPOS seems to be fantastic. We use it on a Chromebook & it works great! We have already upgraded to utilise the draft order function. We have customers that come in & drop off things for repairs & we charge them once they pick up. You can also do a lot on the free version, so I definitely recommend.

I am so sorry to have to write this review - however, I would definitely not recommend it. We installed the trial on the shopify app store, it did not calculate vat correctly so I was moved to their app. This is been a horrendous mistake. 1. It overwrote our customers addresses
2. It would not allow us to select the Compare Price as the original app did and my VERY reason for using this.
3. It can not calculate VAT correctly
4. It chews up all our computers processing and constantly crashes. I was promised numerous updates, the last one was meant to be this Monday but not only did I receive no update I have had no response to my messages. Our POS is a critical part of the business and by it not working has had a dreadful impact on our business with many upset customers having to wait whilst we tried to work out how to process their transactions at the till Whilst initially the support was excellent I presume they have moved me to the not worth it pile. So they have had my subscription and provided me with an app that is unuseable. Very Very disappointing.
We are in a very early stage of using Connect POS and so far the customer support has been super efficient. They would go the extra mile to solve your issues.
