I switched to Constant Contact because I needed one specific feature that my previous platform didn't offer (specifically, I needed to allow clients to sign up for multiple email lists). I'm keeping it specifically for that feature. But this has been an absolutely MISERABLE experience from the start. Simply getting the signup form onto my homepage was a huge chore, their support was useless (that would be Tier 2 support as well), and I still haven't been able to get the form onto more than one page of my website. Also, I haven't sent a single email since switching that wasn't subject to some system-wide technical glitch (ie won't edit, won't save edits, won't send). Also, the most basic elements (such as scheduling emails) are not supported at the basic level. Garbage. I am on the hunt for something else, but it is likewise an ordeal constantly switching platforms. Save yourself a headache.
Can someone please call us -we've sent text and emails.
Terrible!!! It makes us do 2 step verification every time we log in from anywhere!! I have a few staff members that work with the program, and any time they want to log in they have to be in touch with me to give them the code! This is unacceptable

Thanks for giving us feedback on our two-step verification process. We understand that it’s not nearly as convenient as the traditional login procedure, but our intent is to make your Constant Contact account as secure as possible.
If you go to the Multi-factor authentication settings when logged into your Constant Contact account, you can individual users so they can have their own login and authentication methods. Hopefully, this solves your authentication frustrations, please reach out to our support team if you need further assistance.

We have used Constant Contact in the past and on other sites with no problem. Because we had not mailed our list in a while they asked us to call for an account review. They do not answer the phone - ever. Have held for hours, asked for callbacks, tried to solve through chat. They won't even let us cancel our account without talking to someone.

I wanted this ap to help integrate mu email from Shopify to Constant Contact. I sent two emails asking for assistance, as it was not transferring. No reply to either. I reloaded today. it said once the link was complete it would upload the date to CC. That was hrs ago. No transfer. I sen another email. I am not sure the App really works. I can tell you the any type of customer service is non existent I only put on star so I could share our experience. We are looking for a different APP
Constant Contact has never done a thing for me or my business. First, I was sucked into their commercial which insinuated tons of contacts will come to you, with no effort. Automatically! Then you call and find out its $300 per month, if that even works. So then I sign up for their assistance plan instead for like $50 a month and someone with less knowledge than I have would call me periodically. That was a joke. I cancelled that but they kept billing me! Then I ended up with their most basic plan and it's $20 per month with ME still doing all the work. So it's a total rip off! The name is misleading. There is NO constant contact unless you're sending out emails yourself which you can find in most any FREE apps doing the same thing! They had a great sales force selling on b.s. and then any support for actually really doing anything we pay for is non existent after that...oh, unless you want to pay $300. The value is NEVER there for what you are paying. Not ever! Again, the $300 plan is probably just as much of a rip off. Don't be fooled. It's all their own marketing that sucks people in, not any marketing they are doing for you. And the entire app and company is mostly smoke and mirrors. They really should be looked into for false advertising. At the very least, it's one of the typical funded marketing companies that appear to offer you something when in fact take your money and never provide the value for your money. Basically, a scam and a rip off. Spread the word.

I tried use this App for BFCM. It was game over before I even got started because during the free-trial, this App limited my use per-month. I didn't even get the chance to really check out this App without it virtually stiff arming me with auto-responding upsell to upgrade to the next version. GAME OVER! App trashed!
We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our trial is intended to let you try out our automated email features, however it does limit how many emails you can send out before upgrading to a paid plan.
THEY HACKED MY ACCOUNT! I have never heard of this program, nor signed up. I received an unexpected bill on my bank account from Constant Contact. A little while later, I received an email saying that 2,500 (!!!!) contacts were successfully added to my store - all of which are spam emails. I've had to cancel all my cards, change all my passwords to my emails, PayPal, and 3rd party payments. I'm so scared and confused and I haven't heard back from anyone at Constant Contact!
