Interested in providing live, discounted shipping rates to your customers, but don’t want to have to set up multiple accounts with multiple couriers? We can help.

Getting Started

1. Shopify requires that merchants who want to install our app have [carrier-calculated shipping] enabled as a feature. Not sure how to do that? Visit our FAQ or contact Shopify to learn more.
2. We recommend that you sign up for a CourierGateway account before installing our app. Visit us and click [Sign Up Now] to provide your information (remember to select "Shopify" as your "Ecommerce Plugin/Integration") and a customer support representative will work with you to finalize your account and payment information.
3. Now you’re ready to click the [Add app] button at the top of this page. We will ask you to sign into CourierGateway one more time as a verification step.

Success! Your checkout page will now provide customers two choices: the best price and the fastest delivery.

Note: your checkout may display more than two shipping rates. Visit our FAQ to learn why it happens and how to fix it.

Product Weights

While Shopify doesn't require you to add weights to your products, we highly recommend doing so to obtain more accurate shipping rates from our couriers. If you're unsure how to do this, feel free to check out our FAQ.

If your product is missing a weight, we follow Shopify's policy and set the weight to 0.1lb when we pass shopping cart information to our couriers. Couriers reserve the right to increase shipping costs due to differences in reported versus actual weights: as part of our invoicing process, any difference will be billed to you.

Managing Your Shipments

Once a customer has selected a CourierGateway-provided shipping option and completed their checkout, you can sign into CourierGateway and use our Dashboard to:

• View existing orders
• Set up one-time pickups (if courier supports it)
• Track your shipments
• View and print shipping labels for each order
• Create return labels
