Appointment Booking Cowlendar

The best app of this style that I tried from the store. Many other apps lack customisation e.g for the look and feel, or are much more clunky to implement. This app is clearly laid out and gives many options for different styles of events. Support is top notch and very responsive and friendly. I also love the pricing structure, there is no features locked behind higher tiers.

It's a little difficult to figure out how to get it on my site, but Sofia was super helpful and was able to get it working for me. So nice to have a human to actually talk to about the issues. I would also love the option to edit fonts/ backgrounds within the widget, but overall im pleased so far with installing it. much easier than other aps i have been trying that are cheaper... you get what you pay for!!!

The software makes intuitive sense and has all the features I need to run a service based business. When I needed help to figure things out, Sophia gave me great answers (with follow up screenshot diagrams I could follow!). When we could not determine why one issue kept happening, she logged in as a collaborator, found the User error (yes mine!) and gave me the directions to fix it! This software looks good, is easy to set up, and ACTUALLY has great support! KUDOS!!!

Different types of booking are available and suited for every service. Configurations and customizations are intuitive, and live support is readily available to help you throughout the app.

I’ve really enjoyed using Cowlendar so far. I needed a booking system that worked directly with my Shopify website without making the booking process complicated for my customers, and it has been a great fit. I love how customizable it is and how many different types of appointments and events I can manage through one app. It’s made adding bookings to my new website much easier, and their customer support has also been very helpful whenever I’ve had a question. Definitely recommend it for anyone needing a flexible booking system for Shopify.

We have a small business - and had difficulty finding a program that could allow us to embed a calendar on our website to offer classes and events. Cowlander not only has met our needs, but has provided us with excellent customer service - in real time - not next week, and by a chat that is live, not a bot! We've been consistently impressed.

I'm moving over to Cowlender from my current scheduling app and had a specific use case that I was wondering if it could support. Devin took a lot of time to properly understand and then explain a solution. This is going to help me eliminate double bookings and find efficiencies in my scheduling, which I need as a solopreneuer!

Capable booking app, but too invasive for a storefront

Cowlendar does what it promises, and setup is easy. My problem is scope: it attaches itself to the whole storefront, not just to bookable products.

On my Shopify store every add-to-cart form gets marked with data-cow-form-child — including solid oak furniture, which is not bookable in any sense. It also attaches data-cow-cart-observed to my theme's cart drawer element, and its script re-initialises repeatedly on product pages, leaving debug logs in the production console.

While troubleshooting an unrelated cart issue, this cost me hours: it was impossible to tell where my theme ended and the app began. I also found that my "Book an appointment" button had no link of its own — the app was supplying the behaviour, so removing it left a dead button.

If bookings are your core business, this reach may be justified. For a shop where appointments are a side feature, it is a lot of surface area on the page that generates your revenue. I've moved to a standalone scheduling tool that lives on one page and touches nothing else.

This app does everything I need it to with my unique business and multiple revenue streams. The customer service has been far above other apps I have used. They continue to walk me through issues and questions I have. Just tonight Judy fixed something that I deleted and didn't realize it. Highly recommend.

This app has changed my business already for the better. Within a week, I have an infinitely better booking system with the ability to do add ons, take wait list appointments and so much more. The support I received was 5-STAR. Let me say that again... the support I received was 5-STAR. At all hours of doing this project, there was someone educated in the system, FAST, responsive and above and beyond helpful to get the system implemented. So far this is one of the best experiences I have had with a Shopify app. My recommendation for future improvements would be to be able to take an initial booking with a 50% downpayment *AND* have the ability for customers to add a promo code off the cost of service prior so that it's applied to the bill. Also, applying a promo code to the first time membership offering would be pretty nice upgrade as well. Just a suggestion, even without those features this app is outstanding. I want to sincerely thank the owner and creator of this app for making a measurable impact to my small business. You have added GREAT value and I appreciate you and your whole team.
