We installed cross sell on our site and had some feedback re performance. Stuart and the team built an entire new liquid based solution for us. The support from the team was outstanding!
Can't recommend this app enough if you need a replacement for the standard shopify product recommendations which are pretty much useless, or you actually want to setup up cross sells.
I used this app to help to increse my ticket. It's very nice and have different options that helps to show related products
