Crush: Speed & Image Optimizer

Very nice app. I like that I can select lossy or lossless compression. They use the right libs for image compression which is nice to see. I would like to be able to selectively compress different types of images.
So say maybe I can to lossy compress all of my blog images, but losslessly compress all of my product images. Right now I would have to do that manually.
And the option to restore my images to their original form is invaluable!

Seems to do the trick, but there are extra steps that could be eliminated like placing the crushed pics in the website's Shopify photo downloader.

Very helpful app, but it stopped working randomly and we had no idea our images weren't being compressed. It's working now though.

The app works as expected albeit a bit slow. I've only used the image compression module so far but an happy with it so far.

Pretty good! Anything can be improved but this is a straightforward, app with nothing to get confused about.

Not sure as yet. Will come back in a couple of days and check it out for speed testing. It reduced overall by 12% so am not sure of the effect it will have on speed. Time will tell. Will check back soon if an improvement has been made. But good clean app, easy to use.

This is simple to install and use. It is a bit expensive if you are like me and have a lot of pics but I am hoping that it is going to be well worth the expense.

My main need was to optimize images for the web. I didnt plan on using it for image name /alt tag updates, but I am now so I am glad it does that. It would be cool if it had an error/fallout report when I do a bulk job like alt tag updates.
