SmartCS: Currency Converter

Easy set up! Was able to contact customer support to install the app into my store. I didn't like that it was not that seamless look on the frount page.

Useful app and staff is very helpful in setting it up for you. They are quick and efficient. They guided me in the right direction pre set up and made the process a breeze.

App is excellent and easy to set up except for the very last part where you had to add in a line of code in your template to get the currency converter drop down bar to appear.

This should be no problem for those who have basic coding experience, but for a total laymen like me it was quite a problematic issue. Support really shines in this area as they were able to fit the code into exactly where I wanted it to be. In addition they had also kindly informed me when they encountered a bug and requested me to republish the settings.

Very easy to use and the step by step guide to editing the liquid files is pretty bang on. We placed the widget in our header so needed to edit the header.liquid file instead of the theme.liquid file suggested. The only drawback is the time to load once the page has loaded, even with following instructions on how to improve the speed.

I used this app. However, when I log in from of a VPN and connect to a USA server and try to access my site, the currency automatically doesn't change from INR to USD. How do we add automatic currency switcher based on geolocation?

I wanted to open up other markets such as US, UK, EU and India for my products. To be able to switch to local currency is convincing and gives better price perspective to the customers when making purchase decisions. I installed ‘Currency Switcher by Secomapp’ which enabled me to achieve this outcome. Moreover the support in getting it up running on the store was fantastic and quick.
