The app has worked great for us to add additional information to our listings on Shopify. Shopify is great but they give you limited fields for importing important information to listings. Custom Fields saves us SO much time.
Great app and awesome support! A solution for a lot of my requests and an easy solution to indicate more details and information to the customer.
I'm just getting started but the first thing I noticed about Custom Fields was the ability to actually search for products and then add the fields. Many of the other solutions listed products in lists, page by page or not at all. Bonify also responded by phone with a great overview of the product. Let's make this app grow so it will have even more cool features! Shopify should buy the technology for $1M and make it better but if not I hope these developers get enough users to make it worth their time to focus 100% on anything it can't do yet.
Loved this app and it worked great when we initially setup our store. But unfortunately Shopify Store 2.0 (metatags) will most likely remove the relevance of this app.
You may be surprised by this, but we're actually really excited for Online Store 2.0 and the Metafields updates. Keep an eye out for update announcements on our end regarding the future of the app, how it integrates with Online Store 2.0, and how it uses the updated Metafields API!
The updates made it possible to add a deeper and more meaningful integration with the Theme Editor than we could do in the past. Using the app, Merchants will be able to create multiple (separate) Custom Fields Sections that use our Widget system right from the Editor, and Custom Fields Blocks so merchants can place formatted field data directly inside of areas like the product description. These two features have always been highly requested in one form or another. Our support team handles many custom placement requests like these every week, and OS 2.0 allows merchants to do them easily on their own, which is a huge win.
The new Metafield definitions system creates standardization and allows for a more consistent editing experience for merchants across all apps. The old system was subject to all sorts of frustrating issues for us and merchants. In context editing gives us hope that we might be able to retire our Chrome Extension some day too. All good things. :)
All in all, we believe that the OS 2.0 update and API updates added functionality that was expected by merchants to begin with, or features desperately needed by theme and app developers, like real file fields with a true file API, but there are many, many features of this app that will remain relevant and useful to merchants and developers as OS 2.0 evolves.

Amazing app with the coolest feature being the browser plugin! Well worth every penny of the small subscription fee, especially if you run a store like mine where most items are one of a kind, and therefore lots of custom products need to be added consistently. I use Custom Fields & its associated Chrome plugin to easily add unique item specifics for products that are ultimately pushed to eBay, and this app presents the unique item specifics for each product based on the "Product Type" field in Shopify, all of which is easily customizable on the app's backend. Couldn't be happier, and my product listing is faster & easier than ever.
Does what it says and works great. Outstanding customer service, they get back to you efficiently and help you out with any issues. Highly recommended.

I used this app to add custom fields to my product page, and it does exactly what I wanted it to do.
As a freelance designer I installed Custom Fields to extend the product listings in my clients website. The app does exactly what I need – it has been brilliant with the ability to add html fields through to iFrames and many more. Plus the support is excellent. Couldn’t be happier. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
