Great app, I have been using this for 2+ years. Awesome service. Helped me out with something other app developers would have palmed me off to a developer for. Much appreciated.
The Custom Fields app solved a challenge I faced with my store, Showing estimated shipping time windows, however having explored the app for 24 hours I can attest it is powerful far beyond this.
If I were to make another store on Shopify, I would install this app on day one, as it truly expands the possibilities for how the blueprint of your page and all your data is set up. I think this app would actually supersede many other apps if you wish to simplify your shopify and reduce apps. We are extremely pleased with the product and the support.
I use this app to post product notes for special conditions where the sale might be for example an item on back order. I can see this app has far more potential than I'm currently using it for. I did have some requests that were outside of the documentation and the support team was timely with their response as well as incredibly helpful. 5-Starts for sure!
I recommend this app. We use it to add custom fields and dynamic content to our store. With this app we added delivery times, related products, shortened product names in breadcrumbs, added SEO descriptions to collections and blog, to blogposts we added recommendation widgets. Heck, we even send custom data to Google with using the custom fields created with this app.
I've been using this app to build my Shopify eCommerce store. The app has been great for uploading additional product information. The documentation is good and customer service is fantastic!
We found a lot of limitations with shopify's out of the box functionality for the product page we wanted so we have used custom fields to add lots more info to our product page. With this app you are basically able to build any product page (or any page) inclusion you could think of, and everything is still editable. Plus its easy to use and integrate and customer support is always quick to respond.

Je l'utilise notamment pour avoir une fiche produit plus complète et plus "sexy" que les simples champs de base de Shopify. Absolutely critical app for anyone who needs more than a simple product description. It extends Shopify in so many ways to fill so many functionality gaps it's indispensable. I have to admit I really don't like the new sidebar UI when editing products, you have to ensure your mouse is hovered over the fields when editing content and it's very frustrating when it closes so quickly if you nudge your mouse. Was significantly more usable and easy to scan what content was needed when your custom fields were appended to the bottom of your pages instead. Apart from that, the app itself is excellent. -- Updated to reflect answer about pinned mode - thanks for that, didn't know about it and totally appreciate it must be a moving target with Shopify code so once again, it's an incredible app and one I'm unable to live without and happy to pay for :)
Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the Chrome Extension! To solve your problem with hovering, we recommend using "pinned mode" in the extension. Open the extension as usual, then click on Settings and select "Pinned Mode". This will keep the extension open and only close it when you click to close it.
We would have kept the plugin with the output on the bottom of the page, but Shopify continuously changes the HTML on the forms. Without any reliable place to inject our plugin, it was breaking regularly. We explored every conceivable location and method and determined that we had to change it to an overlay and the upper left corner with a "drawer" was the only place that would not get in the way for users. It wasn't a change we wanted to make, but this was our only option.

Awesome service - great app, highly recommend! We were having an issue with related products featuring the right info -- their service got back right away and took care of it ASAP!
The app has worked great for us to add additional information to our listings on Shopify. Shopify is great but they give you limited fields for importing important information to listings. Custom Fields saves us SO much time.
