Shopacado ‑ Volume Discounts

Absolutely do not download this application, which creates major bugs in the shopping basket, and there is no support to fix the problem.

DO NOT INSTALL IF YOU RELY ON EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS AND ABANDONED CHECKOUTS! The app does apply volume discounts but that's also where the positives end. If someone starts a checkout with a volume discount, the email subscription box will not be ticked by default as usual which reduces email subscribers by a lot. Also, the abandoned checkout emails do not work for orders that have a volume discount applied.

UPDATE: stay away from this APP. 1 ) It doesn't work properly with multicurrency. But they don't tell you and it's not easy to notice. We have found that it converts any currency in a 1 to 1 ratio with the main currency of the store. This resulted in some customers seeing prices 100 or 1000 times higher than the real selling price. 2) Say goodbye to abandoned carts. It handles orders in a very convoluted way, all orders that go through the cart become "Draft orders". It is therefore not possible to send recovery cart emails to customers. Very bad experience.

UPDATE: 2 days ago I performed their recommended upgrade tasks, and now not only is their app no longer working, but it has broken features on my checkout and order receipts.

I've reached out multiple times now, but they are responsive and have blamed me multiple times for the issues, offered no solutions, and have now gone silent for 21 hours. This app used to be great, but please avoid it at all costs. I am now scrambling to migrate over 1000 tiers to a new app while out of town working.

This app and the developers have been a lifesaver. Every time I've messaged with a request or issue it's been handled immediately and very professionally. The app looks great and performs much better and faster than my previous discount app. Thanks for creating such a great app and giving such amazing customer service!

Horrible app! Mind you- they push you to write a review the very first day you get the app. No wonder there are so many 5 stars. I have lost so many sales due to this app. I was using the Buy More Save More volume discount function. The app was live on my store and every other customer was getting the discount. I had multiple emails asking why they didn't receive the discount on their order. (what a nightmare) I was on chat with customer service for a total of 6 hours in 3 days. They are very responsive but are no help at all. The app people blamed my customer's internet for the discount not going through. I totally regret ever downloading and installing this app.

I was talking to the customer support person Ravi for the entire week this week and she still failed to fix my problem. The app will not work with different currencies.

Still waiting over an hour for responses, when their SLA is much lower. Discount did not work at all for customers. Code is not editable on our end.

The developers of this app were really awesome! There were some issues with integration as I had Shopify's automated discount running as well. The developers were there to assist me within minutes on a Saturday afternoon! UPDATE: Ok I have to say I am super disappointed by this app. It can't do the math properly, and I'm told that this is a "Shopify" limitation?? What use is a bulk discount app that can't calculate properly.

My Initial review was 5 Star - but as soon as I Submitted my review - these guys showed me their real side. If you have other apps installed - download this app with Caution.

If there was a 0 star option I would give it that. The customer not helpful at all, only replies when they want to. Very pushy when it comes to reviews. Was asked to leave a 5 star review by 2 different customer support agents on my first day of using this app. Lot of bugs with the app as well. Initially the customer service was superb. Mostly replying within a few minutes but on my second day of use I waited over an hour but still not reply. The estimated reply time was set to be less then 1 minute. Very disappointed.
