This app is super helpful and beneficial to my store. Mike is a great rep to have and is always a solution seeker!
The app has too many critical bugs. Many features don't work from screen to screen. It locked up my system and had delayed response times. Really slow at times. Wasted a lot of time working my way in and out of the features and adding products. Biggest issue beside the slow response and system lock up is that the fields for entering in product name, selecting colors and sizes, adding to collections and adding tags doesn't work. You input the data and make selections then save and move forward and all the inputs are gone. And from the next screen if you enter it again, then push to store it doesn't hold changes. So you have to then go make all the edits in Shopify again. And if you are doing multiple products all at once that is very time consuming (not to mention the wasted time doing it on the 2 available screens when designing product). I sent a bug email and they didn't reply. Then when I mentioned it in a different email, they said app doesn't have major bugs - seriously test your app!!! I placed 2 sample orders, the first one took 2 full weeks to arrive. After shipping tracking number was sent it took 3 days to see any progress. Then an additional 4 days to arrive. The 2nd order didn't even get transferred into their system. They said it was a web hook issue and that this is common with new customers - again, fix your app. Email response take a day or two. Didn't get the sense they cared at all about my issues or concerns.
Customization is extremely limited. Prices are okay for Canadians but I would prefer more customization and better mockups.
The application is very convenient to use and very useful for sellers like me. It's very good. Everyone should know about it
I have several apps in my store. I never bother to read the user guide for any of them. They are intuitive and designed with ease of use in mind. This app has a terrible UI. I tried a dozen times to get my logo file uploaded. it meets all the file criteria they have in their FAQ. Once i finally got it to load and show up. It disappeared. I dont have time to mess with an app that is buggy and poorly designed. Its a shame, I really liked their products and would have sold them if the app wasn't a POS.

got 1 order, 7 days later no order, no communication telling me the item was out of stock, I had to open a ticket just to find out 6 days later but my customer had to get refunded.

Ordered a couple sweatshirts for testing and I'm glad I did... the print quality was very faded and shoddy looking- white print residue spots outside of the design. Very linty and it had hairs on it. I believe I could heat transfer something that would look much better than this.
The embroidery on the other sweatshirt was ok in quality but it was only about half of the size of what it showed in the mock-up. Very small. They say on the site the embroidery area for the left breast is 4x4" but this was well under 3 inches. Very significant difference and not what would be expected from the end customer based on the expectations set. I wish I could post pics of my products for reference but I don't see a way to do that.
I have emailed customer support and will update when I hear back. Overall, largely disappointed as I was so hoping this service would live up to the hype I'm hearing everywhere..
This is best app for fulfillment t-shirt and more POD. Low base cost and help my business so much. Very quick and friendly support. Vote for this.
I finally decided to make a 1 star review to CustomCat. Every type of issue takes away 1 star and there are many issues at the moment so they should have received zero stars if it would be possible.
#1 Quality control issues - I sold thousands of face masks and it's unbelievable how much work I had with customer support. About 5% off all masks had quality issues, either the customer received the wrong product or the print was bad. Not just a bit off, it was noticably terrible.
#2 Shipping issues - CustomCat is offering an economy shipping option. The next decent shipping option is incredibly expensive compared to other POD services but is still basically standart shipping. About 5% of all orders were incredibly late and about 1% of all orders got lost with economy shipping. This isn't shipping, this is garbage.
#3 Production delays - According to CustomCat some orders had to be reprinted multiple times what lead to orders being in print for 2-3 weeks what is just insane. I highly doubt that's really the case but either way, if your orders need to be reprinted 6 times you are clearly doing something wrong as a company. Also, good luck explaining it to the customers why their order wasn't shipped for weeks.
#4 Issues with the apps order recognition - About 0.002% of all orders didn't get synched to CustomCat. That's not a high number but if you're making many sales, you can't check orders all the time if they are getting synched. It shouldn't happen in the first place but when contacting the support about this issue I was simply told to replace a manual order. Thanks a lot.
#5 Feedback ignorance - Regarding all these issues and reporting multiple times on customer complaints, product and quality issues nothing has changed at all. I had so many complaints about the product with detailed explanations but customcat didn't change anything at all about it.
These are the reasons why I believe they deserve a 1 star review because as someone who is selling a lot the company clearly limits someone in expanding and growing the business because you need hours every day to fix the issue they have caused. I understand that there are many issues these days but they just tried to cash grab as much as possible instead of limiting some of their services to keep the quality steady. That's bad business practice and hurt my brand a lot. I believe I'll take my christmas business somewhere else because it will simply not be an option, they will not be able to handle it at all.
