Merchants appreciate this app for its wide range of customizable products, high print quality, and fast shipping. They commend its competitive pricing, quality control, and the DIGISOFT printing method. Excellent communication is provided through emails and a Facebook seller community group. Customer service is highly praised, with several representatives receiving specific commendations. Some merchants, however, have expressed dissatisfaction with policy changes. The interface is basic and may require some familiarization, but tutorials are available on YouTube.

The customer service is terrible. I don't how else to explain. Quality of the products are OKAY. Not steller. But just hope you don't have any issues. Customer service is 1 star with this company. In response time and help.

I have not started selling but CustomCat has already earned all my sympathy. Great products, great mockups and the best support team I have seen for a long long time. I just miss the possibility of keeping products ready to upload or edit, and an easier shipping setup. Still, I have checked many POD apps and this is the best by far for me. Just go for it.

We started using this app for their wide selection, but after literally every single order having issues (I never knew how many new issues could be present with each order), we have pulled all but a small handful of their items from our store. The items we have left do not seem to have as many issues as others.

Overall, you're wasting time, stress, and money over an inferior product. Just use Printful, they have not messed up a single order.

EDIT BASED OFF OF RESPONSE: It was not fair of me to say that every order was wrong. I will note though, not every order with an issue was reported. However, what we quickly learned about CustomCat, was when a customer ordered an item from this vendor, we were crossing our fingers that their order would not have issues. On the flip side, Printful has a 100% success rate. We have not returned 1 Printful item.

Additionally, several of the "replaced" items had NEW issues. So some orders were replaced twice. Why on earth would we trust this vendor at that point? We want our customers to know that they will receive a quality product from a quality brand... and we were not that brand with CustomCat as a vendor.

I'm not leaving this review to be a jerk, just want a better product. I'll also say we have since removed every single CustomCat item from our online store in the past month or 2.

Hi! I am sorry you had a poor experience using our app...After lookin at your account, I can see there were a few orders with issues, not all of your orders. The ones that did have issues were replaced on our behalf. We are great, but not perfect. We operate at 1% replacement rate this 1% contains any possible screw up. Also, over 95% of our orders leave our facility in 2-3 business days. Only in unique circumstances would something take longer than that.

My experience with Custom Cat has been very negative!

-I placed a sample order on September 21st (just ONE product)

-The order did not process until October 7th * (11 business days later)

-As of today, October 14th, sixteen business days after I placed my order I still have not received the order and Custom Cat has been less then helpful and they are very slow to reply to messages.

This is the second sample order that I have placed. The first order took a long time to arrive and I was very disappointed with the quality. I figured I would try another product and the experience has been even worse! I am so happy that they have shown me how they do business as I can avoid making a huge mistake with my company!

* There was NO communication on my delayed orders and my billing and address was were up to date.

Hi Aimee - If we can not process an order for reasons like funds not available or a missing/incomplete address, we automatically alert you via email and the order is displayed in your error queue in your dashboard. The order you are referencing was processed on the 7th of this month. Its the 1st order using a new embroidery file so we paid to have that artfile digitized for embroidery. We ordered the hat on the 8th, it arrived on the 9th and was embroidered and shipped on the 10th. Please reference your CC, or shopify dashboard, for tracking because that order did ship last week. Our stated lead time is 2-3 business days but currently, our average fulfilment time is 1.5 business days.

I used this app to upload and manage my designs. The application was very easy to use and very user friendly. The issue that I ran into was the long delivery time and the quality of the graphic print on fabric. None of the print that was placed on my t-shirts and hoodies looked crisp, even when I made sure that the resolution and dpi was correct and that the image was of high quality with basic colors. At first I thought it was a one time issue, but it continued with every order. The quality of the print just seemed to be sub par. In addition, the customer service seemed to be lacking. Many of the customer service reps seemed to be irritated by my discontent of their poor printing standards. Because of all of this, I do not recommend using this company for t-shirts, hoodies, and any other apparel.

if i could give them -5 stars I would. Unless you want to have to replace every item for crap print quality or terrible embroidery, hard pass on this one. theres pleny other POD companies that do quality work and actually QC thier products before shipping. This company has cost me thousands of dollars in replacements because of incorrect colors and just flat out embarssing work.

in response to the comment below. the wrong embroidery color was only the final straw in literally every project being an embarassing mess. I am not new to the embroidery or POD worlds. the work you do is absolutely substandard.

We do our best to make the design guidelines/embroidery rules readily available and have a standing offer for sellers to email any specific art files to our support team (contact@customcat.com) to confirm that they are conducive to our embroidery standards.
I also see that Brett has reached out to you. Hopefully we can come to some sort of resolution.

I think CustomCat are great. Shipping and fulfilment is fast and customer service respond when I need help. Very reasonable prices as well - keep up the great work :)

I downloaded the Customcat app to my shopify store, once my account was set up and activated I had some issues with getting to the design and product catalog pages. I gave customer service a call and the phone was answered right away by Brett one of the customer service agents. I was shocked the call was answered in two rings. Brett was great, helped fix the issue and gave me a lot of great advice on how to use their service. I will be selling various items using Customcat fulfillment. Great job so far!

I sell a fair amount of shirts using Custom Cat.

The system works well for me overall. For T-Shirts the turnover is fast, but sometimes there are delays with items other than standard Tee's. This can be frustrating as there is really no way to talk to anyone in the company other than Customer support, who really aren't able to help. Nowadays people are just spoiled by Amazon... they get really antsy if they have to wait 3-4 days for something to ship.

Overall, I would be very happy with the system and company if the print quality were better. The fact is, the print is just not at the level of quality you would see selling in a retail setting, (other than perhaps a discount type store). Quality control seems to be a weak spot.

As a seller, I really want to sell things I myself would be happy to buy, and in all honesty I can't say this is the case frequently with Custom Cat. I get a fair amount of returns where there's not really anything 'wrong' per se... just a general disappointment with the overall look of the print...and when I see the returned item, I'm in full agreement with the customer... it just doesn't look as good as it should.

To be fair, I've had the same issues with other printers. I almost feel that maybe POD just isn't quite ready for prime time. But there are times when it actually looks good. I would almost be willing to spend an extra buck or 2 for a 'premium' print where they aren't so stingy with ink coverage -- and had some QC in place. Since you don't actually see the shirts, You need to be able to trust that the merchandise is up to par.

I'm going to continue with Custom Cat, because the pricing is very competitive and as I've mentioned, the system works well for me. My only wish is the POD technology, or the machines/staff could produce a really consistently high quality product that I'd feel proud to sell to a friend. At this stage it's not quite there.
