This app works well once you understand clearly how customer tags function. If your applying the CSP groups to your whole customer list then its very easy to do right inside the app. If you want to assign CSP's to specific customer groups, a little bit of pre-tagging in your customer list is needed, but its easy to do via import/export customer lists in Shopify. I had some difficulty in the beginning because I was not using the tags properly, but the BOLD apps support crew helped me sort it out and get it up and running right.
A feature suggestion I have is if BOLD could add a tag filter rule for "time", whereas the money spent rules would apply for a specific term such as a "year"; this way I could require my membership group to meet the spending requirements on an annual basis to maintain the preferred discount level. Very good app!
I installed this custom pricing app from a recommendation thinking it was the quantity breaks (QB) app. I also configured it and installed the subsequent module code for custom pricing and quantity breaks thinking it was just the quantity breaks.
I reached out to customer service chat and spoke to a Kelsey. It was a great experience! I only wanted the QB app. They helped me uninstall what I had installed initially, publish my back up theme, then walked me through to install just the QB app. What we realized is the QB app rolls into the custom pricing version. Somehow, my settings were saved.
In conclusion, my understanding is that the QB module code is only installed on my store, not both modules. I feel better that dormant code is not sitting in my files.
I have yet to get a sale but a encouraged by the customer service excellence so far.
The install part is intermediate level difficult, but I took my time and reached out for help when I needed to Kelsey.
I would recommend a way more simple install process. Maybe, a walkthrough wizard of some sort. This process could have gone way out of control for me and very overwhelming.
Not liking how files stay dormant when you uninstall. This would mean I would have to manually remove any and all code to clean my theme or just publish my backup.
We will see how it goes, but so far so good, overall.

First off, I'm really glad to see that Kelsey was able to work with you through the app reinstallation and to answer any questions that came up during it.
It looks like there may have been some wrong information communicated, or a miscommunication; unfortunately, even when you install just the Quantity Breaks module, since it is integrated into Custom Pricing now, that code is also installed in the event that you wanted to turn Custom Pricing on.
Even though our team of installers is happy to do both code installs and uninstalls, if you wanted to continue using Quantity Breaks, we would need to keep the Custom Pricing code on there since they are intertwined. Sorry about that! I understand you are uneasy with having code laying dormant in your theme files, however I can assure you that this shouldn't cause any site loading or speed issues.
With that being said, if you ever want to uninstall one of our apps, you can reach out to us and our expert install specialists would be happy to remove any code of ours, so that it isn't staying in your files.
Regarding the installation, we do have a Help Center with installation documentation (not sure if that's what you used) to walk you through the process, although in the case of this app, it's quite complicated. Our installers are also available to help with any app installations, since it can be difficult!

I love Bold apps, they are extremely helpful and easy to implement. I was really impressed with the level of service Rajni provided.
I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THIS APP AND ITS TECHNICAL SUPPORT. I paid $40 for the app to be installed. It was not working properly so they had to go in to make changes (FYI it does not work with swatches so if you use swatches they want you to pay $150 for them to make it work. Also does not work with product preview pop up pages) totally bogus. In there attempts to fix a liquid error caused by the app they managed to screw up several things on my template on two different occasions. They then stopped responding to emails after slaughtering my website. Shopify was able to fix one of the problems but because it is not a Shopify bought template they could not fix all of the problems. They were able to pin point why and how the problem happened but said either bold or my template designer would have to fix the rest of the problems. My template designer wants $200 to fix it and I am afraid to let Bold (the makers of this app) anywhere near my html code again. If you cannot install the app yourself and your template was not bought on Shopify I would advise against hiring Bold to install it. Oh yea, Shopify said my template is very intricate so they felt the tech support at bold was just not "tech savvy" enough to know how to navigate it without causing issues. Lucky me!

Bad customer service, had to wait so long to get an answer that is not good answer and it's very complicated to know who you have to talk to.
This app bugs with many things like Facebook shop if you have sizing variants.
All prices are being visible by your Facebook followers !!
It bugs also the filters app because it create for example ( small-retail, small-wholesale...) so you have many many filter unnecessary.
It slow down the website, very much !!
The hide tags is not clever, it would have been better to make a ( -show ) tag instead of -hide, and choosing not to be visible it's the native solution of Shopify, so the default visitor don't see anything and you avoid many tags for nothing.
It double the inventory size because of the way it multiply the variants in order to the quantity of your type of pricing...
It creates to much tags that is really not friendly user and not clean in the end if you want to have a simple preview of your tags.

I don't recommand that app if you us many apps like me.
The customer service is just incredible! Azm spent an hour with me helping me set this app up and it does exactly what I want it to do! this is my third app I've used in the BOLD family and all our really spot on! Highly suggest and thank you Azm!!!

The app does not work properly in my shop and the installation team is overwhelmed with their work and has not been able to find a solution until today!
The support is also very, very slow and the work is not checked. There is no good quality management at BOLD.
On September 5th, 2020 I installed the BOLD app for testing and today is September 22nd, 2020 and it still doesn't work and I have been waiting for the last feedback from support for 2 days again! I cannot recommend this app + company!
I now have another app to test and it works very well for me and the support is very helpful and quick with its answers! The app costs more money, but it's worth it to me!

Dumb app messed up my cart page. My cart page use to auto update the quantity increase and decrease after the install it stopped updating automatically plus there's a little widget appears in the cart page that shows the discounts applied. I want it to auto update too. They told me it will require a custom customization which starts from $1000. Which is too expensive. I would suggest to stay away from bold apps. Very expensive service and uncooperative people.
