Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B

Bold App allows us to offer special pricing for valued customers and open a whole line of repeat business using our products as thank-you's and giveaways. This has been super valuable for us as an emerging e-commerce company and we highly recommend Bold to anyone who needs special pricing for "VIP" customers. Great app!

Totally recommend this! So easy to install (we opted for Bold Apps to install the code for us), so easy to amend on the fly and our customers are loving this new service that we are offering!

Pretty cool app for wholesale and customer loyalty. All products are integrated for you and the bold Apps customer service is second to none. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied AND that your store does well.

Great app with an excellent support team. We've been using it since 2015 to differentiate between our regular customers and our wine club customers and then offer wine club customers automatic discounts on wines when they log into their profiles, as well as exclusive products and/or offers which are only revealed and made shoppable to Wine Club customers on login.

We've had multiple situations where we needed to reach out to the support team to advise and/or assist us on customisations, custom/manual code installs or integrations with other apps, and each time the support team have been very responsive and helpful.

Most recently (March 2023), we've had excellent support from Chandan.

There are definitely some drawbacks for us to the app itself, as it tends to conflict with other apps we'd like to use. Our latest challenge is that we can only work with version 1 of the app due to our specific requirements - we want to be able to use discount codes in addition to group/membership pricing, which is not possible with V2 and V3 of the Custom Pricing app. Unfortunately, V1 does not integrate with Shopify 2.0 themes, so we cannot upgrade our current theme to a newer version at this stage.

It would also be great to have longer support 'office' hours to cater for all time zones. We are based in South Africa (CAT) and the Bold Support team is on CST (8-hour difference) so we only have limited overlapping work hours, which become problematic when custom work results in website downtime as it extends it unnecessarily, purely because the Bold team only work 9-5 in their time zone.

Nonetheless, the app works well for our current set up and the support team is great.

We use many BOLD Apps, including Loyalty Points, combo Customer Pricing/Quantity Breaks, Upsell, and Discount. Our Shopify store would not be what it is without BOLD. We chose BOLD not only for their array of products and outstanding service, but because we knew if we had all our apps from one reliable source, all the apps would have to work together seemlessly. And they have! We have no issues whatsoever using any of our BOLD apps. Because of BOLD we were able to bring our Wholesale Customers and Private Label Practitioners online to order automatically - this has definitely increased our wholesale sales and has cut down on our staff processing time. Because the apps work perfectly together, order errors are virtually eliminated.

We love ALL the BOLD team. Every single one of them have been quick to answer and fix and glitches we might have. The advanced team that did our programming for the combo Customer Pricing and Quantity Breaks combo app - was amazing - super quick to get it in place (was like less than 24 hours!) and it works flawlessly. A few things to teach this non-techy-user and we were off an running. Its nice to be able to offer so many price levels and tagged tiers. Truly an asset to our store and worth the money - just for our wholesale customers if nothing else!

I'm not great with the behind the scenes stuff so i paid for it to be installed, which was done very quickly with great support!

To start out with we are using a suite of Bold apps. Customer Pricing, Product Options, Product Upsell, Loyalty Points, Product Discount and Bold Brain. All of the apps working together have allowed us to expand and manage multiple aspects of our business. Customer Pricing allows us to target specific customer groups for professional discount programs by industry. We use targeted marketing to promote registering for the special discount programs. The customers in these groups are tagged and see adjusted pricing as soon as they login to the store. The ease at which the discounting is handled has encouraged the users in these groups to purchasing more frequently.

The majority of our catalog is customized or personalized and requires a degree of complexity in presenting the various offerings. Product Options allows us to manage those complex products. Product Upsell allows us to present complementary products when specific products are purchased, Product Discount allows us to create BOGOs, Sales and special promotions all designed to increase revenue. Loyalty Points allows us to build interest and repeat business. All of these apps working together have helped to increase activity in the store. The fact that they are all Bold apps makes them easy to manage and gives us access to the excellent Bold support team

Shappify offers just what I need --- I sell primarily to retail shops, but also want to sell directly to consumers. I prefer to have the wholesale pricing for retailers private, but still offer a quick and easy-to-access interface for them to use within my current site. Bingo. No more downloading forms and faxing orders, no second website, no special retailer portal....Consumer Pricing integrates my wholesale pricing seamlessly into my Shopify site, revealing the wholesale pricing only to people that I specify.

And it is absolutely perfect. The ways I can customize my pricing tiers and which products it applies to and which visitors get what is fabulous, simple to set up, and gets me thinking of all the ways I can play with it in the future (discount incentives to loyal customers, different levels of wholesale pricing, bogos, bulk discounts, etc.).

As with everyone else that's commented, I found the folks over at Shappify really helpful. They worked with me to install the app to get me up and running without delay. I also have their locator map app, and just love it, too. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.....
