CustomerGenius helps Shopify merchants catch customers who create multiple email accounts to reuse discount codes and free product promotions. Every discounted order is scored against prior orders across email, phone, shipping address, billing address, and name. Flagged orders can be held for manual review or automatically cancelled and refunded before they ship, or simply trigger an email alert. A customer blocklist also handles known bad actors. Amazing app, and amazing team! If your store offers first-time customer discount codes, you need the Customer Genius app!
We use first customer discounts, and they're getting a LOT of abuse, customers creating throw-away email accounts in order to continually order using new customer codes.
This app is a godsend, as are the dev team! It works like a charm, and every feature request I've come up with, they've implemented, often within a day or two of asking.
This is a brilliant app that is much needed in the Shopify app store. I highly recommend it as its working great so far and the support has been great too.
