CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder

Custom products are an important part of our business since we manufacture our own products. Coming over from a Magento website with a very complex custom made product builder, we did not think we would be able to recreate our offer by simply using an app.

After reviewing many apps, we decided to go with this one and found many great features. Since we have so many options to offer, we had issues with the preview not working all the time. The developper investigated the issue with us an found a solution.

Now we have 2 very complex custom product builders on the site and looking forward adding more in the next months. The app is simpler to use than what we had on Magento and also offers nice backend features to see what the customer build using option, codes and an image.

In looking at all the custom builders out there Product Builder was by far the most flexible and professional looking. Working with Lex and his team was great. They were responsive to all my questions and were very helpful when I had questions customizing the app to our site. I am very pleased with the flexibility of the app and the end result looks great and easy to use. Our customers are loving being able to design their own product on our site!

This app has been a life changer for our custom sites. We are passionate about custom and in the past we even developed our own custom tool and that was a huge mistake. This app exceeds every single feature of any other app out there. The app developers are extremely responsive and proactively adding new and great features to the tool. The color overlay feature is one of my favourites and allowed us to reduce the image quantity almost 10x. Before we used to have each render for each colour, now we simply use the base renders with the specific textures and apply the colour overlay, and it looks almost as good as before. Highly recommend this app to anybody who is willing to do custom products in Shopify. Massive thanks to the Alex and all the team behind this great app!

I am usually not the kind of person to leave reviews unless I have a spectacular experience. The customer service team is truly amazing! They respond within 24 hours and also provide a free 30-minute set up session for your store's needs.

They initially recommended that I start with the basic plan and see what I need. I started with that and now have upgraded to the pro plan and won't ever turn back to any other plugin available. The inventory management, customisation options and settings available are just not comparable to their competitors.

For my particular store, I needed a lot of customisation and changes. The development team were patient despite me not knowing much about coding and how the app along with Shopify works together and guided me through the whole process. I can say confidently that my store is working perfectly as is with this plugin. Magda, Vlad and Egor were especially helpful in responding to my queries promptly and solving my roadblocks.

I would definitely recommend this app and give it a go for 30 days free. It sold me within days.

I have used this app on a few occasions and each time I've had questions. I reached out to their customer service and everyone I have come in contact with has been helpful. App needs a lot to improve on user- friendly.
- No sort new to old function on the front product list, whenever you have new product build, you will need to scroll down to find again.
- font manager is also very poor, when you installed new font you can't installed all at once, you can only put it separately one on one.
- And go to product font manager, the new font will hide inside the list, then you will need to remember tons of font you just installed.
- The layer list also need a lot to improve, it's better to make the previous layer you are editing in different color, so which you click back to the layer list, you won't miss from tons of layer you just create, and just wasting time figuring out which one should it be.
- The enable feature box to check for CPB_Orderd automatically turn to draft, it doesn't work at all. All cpb_ordered still shows up at frontend, lots of incompletion function they need to improve.
- Custom service complain to user spending more time on helping out. Wow, didn't hear that we pay for the app, and get complain from support. Thanks for being so supportive.

So robust, and quite easy to use considering how complex it is! Also, customer support is amazing! They respond within a day and were able to help me with advanced technical issues and help me with my CSS.

It is a powerful tool, does everything I need it to, works quite fast, and has so many options that aren't too hard to use.

Perfect support, slow at beginning but really helpful and these guys are here to solve all your problems, best app for custom product building on the market!
