Really good customer service, fairly full-featured and pretty easy to use customer form/registration app. There is a decently-documented API for hooking into form events. I would like to be able to add html to form labels, and also have built-in integration with Google Analytics.

We use this app to collect and approve signup form inquiries for our wholesale only store. It was easy to setup, works as you would expect, and the team was very responsive when I had questions and needed a little setup help.

Customer Fields enables us to quickly show required conditional inputs on forms depending on how our customers were referred. I caused some issues in hiding conditional fields, but the Helium team quickly directed me in the correct direction in under 20 minutes.

The app helped us to add birthdays to our customer accounts and register page.
Specifically Jakin was one of the best customer support reps I have ever dealt with!
He was thorough with his explanation and guidance. He even took the time to take screen recordings and screenshots, walking me through anything that I had issue with. Top tier help here for sure! Would highly recommend

For my client, there was a business requirement to collect a lot more customer information than Shopify native could do. As we have also enabled Sparklayer for their b2b business we needed a tool that would work flawlessly with both Shopify and Sparklayer. Helium Customer Fields is easy to use, reliable and while some configuration issues occurred initially, support was prompt and the client is working as desired. Documentation was a bit slim on the ground when I first implemented things, but once I understood their process, it all got easy. Recommended.
Love this review! We built CF because merchants needed custom data collected during registration and it's great to hear that we're still providing exact and robust solutions. We love Sparklayer and have many shops that use both CF and Sparklayer in tandem to accomplish their goals. I originally left a 1-star review due to a serious flaw: the “approve” button wasn’t showing on mobile when the list was long — which made it impossible to approve customers on the go. It had been that way for over a year, and I was told it wasn’t on the roadmap.

To their credit, Helium’s leadership stepped in quickly after my review. They acknowledged the issue, pushed a hotfix almost immediately, and offered a credit for the inconvenience. The COO even reached out directly and genuinely owned the situation.

The issue is now resolved, and mobile approvals are working as they should. It shouldn’t have taken this long, but the way they handled it once it reached the right person gives me confidence in their willingness to listen and improve.

Customer Fields has been a great solution for our store, not only because of its features, but also because of the awesome support.
This app allowed us to enable customer profile editing directly by customers themselves from the My Page area — something that Shopify's default setup doesn’t support.
We were also able to enable the “Require email verification” option easily.
These features have made a big difference for both our customer experience and internal operations.
Whenever we’ve had questions or needed clarification, the support team — especially Brett — responded quickly and clearly.
Their guidance helped us resolve things smoothly and with confidence.
They also supported us with updating our DNS records.

App works exactly as you would imagine. It is also useful for tweaking some of the customer data points Shopify does not give and we need to have from our customers. I would like to give a special shout out to Brett as he was very helpful showing a lot of professionalism.
