I think I've tried every donation app available on the store, and settled on this one as it provided the most user friendly interface and best, most prompt customer service. Thank you!

Daily Karma is fantastic. Women founded and women run, the staff are extremely professional, accessible, and helpful. We are a mission-oriented business, so a well-integrated checkout app that helps our customers discover and donate to superlative non-profit organizations is a game-changer.

The Team at Daily Karma is truly committed to doing things right and ensuring customers are happy. Are you a startup or small business looking to do the right thing from Day 1? The Daily Karma Team are likely your best option. My site needed 17 (Seventeen!) new organizations that were not in their databases. I asked them to add them and they got back to me in 24 hrs. Two days later all of them were there. I even asked for a bit of additional customization and I got it in 24 hr. For free.
Nat, and her Team are really on the ball. I really recommend looking at DailyKarma while looking to add a simple and straightforward donation app.

We are using multiple Shop for Good campaigns and it is exactly as advertised. The implementation was simple, management of the platform is easy, and the team has been responsive and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend.

So far I’ve had a great experience with this app! I wanted to donate to a Canadian charity that wasn’t on the list so I requested it, got a personal email within 24 hours to confirm they were looking into the correct organization and added it to my site within a week!
I had a 15 minute free consult which was super helpful- Melaney answered all my questions, had already checked out my site and even offered me some tips unrelated to the app!
I feel confident that I won’t have any issues and if something pops up I’ll have great customer service.

So glad this app exists. They have such a wide variety of charities to choose from and allow you to feature so many at one time. Thank you for helping my company do more than just make sales. It really helps to know that my company is spreading good some other way.

We have had the Shop For Good app connected for a few months but really started using it in the last month when we decided to get more serious about our give-back initiatives. The charity campaigns are very simple to set up and are great ways to get customers to donate! The customer service at Shop For Good is amazing, they are very quick to respond and give solutions or workarounds even if there isn't an exact solution. They have a great list of charities to choose from and are happy to add new charities if you request them. We are very happy with this app!

SECOND UPDATE: The devs reached out and things have resolved very positively. I really appreciate their desire to work with people who use their app.

UPDATE FOR DEV REPLY: I'm not talking about the pricing change, I'm talking about the removal of free features and making them paid. You're forcing your customers to make a decision between upgrading and paying you, or continuing with the current free plan but unable to make changes to certain (now paid) features. This is not okay, and it's unethical.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: While this app is great for automating donations and providing a lot of options when you're willing to pay the astronomical price of almost $300 per month, the free user is left with uncertainty and treated poorly.

I've been a free user for over a year now (I don't make enough money in my shop to justify the monthly subscription) and it's been great. However, Shop For Good and DailyKarma willing remove previously free features and move them to paid tiers with little to no notice (sorry I don't consider an email newsletter that I can't seem to find as notice).

A feature I had been using extensively the entire time (donations on specific products, because not everything in my store is meant for donations) was recently moved to the paid tier. While I am still able to use it as is, I'm unable to ever make any changes or add new products to it without needing to upgrade, and I find that to be quite disturbing on them to remove features from users and then force them to pay for it to return. It's shady business practices at best and greedy at worst. You're a social impact and donation app, not a massive profit machine.

This has left me needing to find another way to gather donations because their paid tiers would destroy my overhead and bleed my shop dry. They've been slow in emails (taking a week at a time to respond) and unwilling to help me out here other than to suggest I pay. I'm so disappointed and saddened by this whole experience.

(Note to anyone considering the free plan, read the fine print that wasn't there when I started, they take 10% of your donations to pay themselves. So that "free" tier is not actually free.)

We are so excited to have Shop for Good on our store! It is going to be very helpful in supporting our mission and values. It is also going to make it so easy to handle the donation process on the backend. We chose the white glove service, and they were very patient as we launched a new collection. Our only change would be even more flexibility with the design.
