I have tried many reporting apps and I have to say that while this one may require a bit more of learning curve, it is the most comprehensive. What pushes it over the top is that the developers are willing to help customize reports and even help integrate with third party APIs. This is especially useful for companies who care about having things like CGS be a part of their reports. While other developers take the easy way out and just say no, these people work with you until your reports are how you need them to be.
We have this app in multiple Shopify stores. You HAVE to have this app if you want any meaningful data out of Shopify. Customer support is fantastic, and the product works incredibly well. You can export reports to email and ftp. You can schedule reports to come regularly. If the data is in Shopify, Data Export can get it out.
