Data Export IO: Reports

Such a great app! Easy to fill in some holes shopify analytics leaves, (like sales by order tags etc). Very easy to use w/ excellent customer service.

I cannot recommend this App strongly enough. It does exactly what I need it to do — and I expect what you need it to do. Very flexible, responsive, customizable. The feature to send reports on a schedule has helped keep a backstop against order problems. Having a view every day on sales, margins, everything — just a great was to make sense of what's going on in the shop! Great work.

I'm back nearly a year later to say that every single time I have connected to ask a question or get help, my issue has been solved diligently and promptly. It's remarkable how quick and friendly their customer support is! I just had an issue with export formatting and Amal sorted it in just a few minutes and then showed me how he did it in case I need to make this small adjustment with one of my reports in the future. Amazing.

I am super impressed on what this app can do BUT i am beyond awe the assistance support has provided to make what i needed to do ... done.

The challenges i posted to Data Export includes
1. String Manipulation over data fields splitting them apart and joining them together to form new reporting columns
2. Custom Exported Filenames e.g report_month_day.csv
3. Calculated date/time fields

These are something you can do in excel but i never expect it to be doable in Shopify ... well, you cannot until you use Data Export.

Sometimes, it is not about the app and features alone. The support (real person) which the app provides is the most critical feature in my opinion and they have totally won my biggest vote for the best app on Shopify.

Highly recommended for any custom reporting you need for your store.

The more I get to play with this app
The more I like it Yes, it was a bit of a learning curve
And a little overwhelming at first Definitely a learning curve
It's not a "dummy" app like too many try to be I had to re do every report I made at least 5 times
( part of the learning process )
Mostly because I kept playing and figuring out what I did wrong
And what else the app can do Heck, just figured out last night that it can pull data back from the beginning of time ( since we started with shopify )
Shopify data only goes back 90 days - what the hell good is that? This has become one of the best apps we have
The boss ( wife ) is very VERY detail oriented
And likes data and history and numbers Yes it did take us a while to figure out what reports we want and how to build them ...bla bla bla....
But now...
This app now saves her 20 - 30 hours a month in report
And we can set it to automatically email them when we want
Month end reports - DONE!! The more I use it, the more I WANT to use it and get the data I need.
Now I am using it for sales history per item - PER VARIANT - to help me ordering product.

Fantastic for generating my monthly reports - had this recommended and only ever needed to use DataExport. Any custom reporting or issues are sorted out immediately allowing me to continue operating my store.

This app is amazing! Shopify's reports are SO limited and when you need specific details like "Billing County" - Shopify can't deliver but DATA EXPORT does!! This makes filing my taxes for Nexus SO easy and I highly recommend them! They've been so helpful and I'm extremely pleased with not only the app and the features but their customer service is amazing!! If you're bogged down by Shopify's analytics reports being so limited you will be SO pleased by Data Export Reports! Definitely give them a try and see for yourself. 1000% recommend!
