Fileflare Digital Downloads

I was looking for a solution for multiple PDFs attached to one product. I read a ton of reviews on DDA- Digital downloads before trying it out and I was not disappointed! I was able to install and get it set up myself easily. When I did encounter an issue I couldn't resolve I just used the chat feature and William was awesome! He helped me install some code for order downloads, setup my custom email so that my emails come from that email and we chatted about some featured I would love to see come soon! I also love how detailed the help docs are and with videos. Makes it easy to get things started myself. Thank you for the great support!

We used the app for the very first time and set up a "pre-order release" for just over a thousand orders. It CRASHED the server. Customers received emails leading them to a 503 error. This is our first experience with a 5-star rated app, resulting in the worst tech service we've seen in three years of our business. FIX IT!
UPDATE: Changed the review to 3 stars from 1 star. Because the team fixed the issue within one hour. Worse can happen. Now we just need to deal with the aftermath of this incident (thousands of support emails).

This app is absolutely fantastic! It does everything I need – and more. The interface with Shopify is seamless, and the added features, such as pdf stamping, and IP Download limitations, are super-easy to set-up. I tried several different digital download apps and they all were filled with issues i.e. can only upload 1 file, cannot customize any settings etc. Then I discovered Downloadable Digital Assets that had it all - upload several assets, customize emails, PDF lock and stamping etc. and I couldn't be happier. We are definitely ready to scale! And on top of that William was there from the start to make sure everything looks right and is working properly. I think I am now using this app forever!

I was struggling with the free one offered by Shopify. This one let's me do what I need to do and more. The Free version was good enough for what I needed but I chose to move up to the pro version. I had good and prompt interaction with support as well.

Great experience so far! Set up has been very clear and easy. The support team is fantastic for any specific questions. Very excited to see how this boosts our business online!

All-round brilliant experience with this app so far.

It has masses functionality that allow you to set up file downloads exactly as you want them and it all links with your Shopify store. The tracking function that can stop users from link sharing is brilliant. File downloads are quick. Linking your files to products is super easy. All of the support documentation is so helpful and is up-to-date so even if you're not a super techy person, you can follow it to set up your store/file downloads.

We had a query with one of the functions and William was amazing - he answered the query within minutes (seconds?!) and solved the issue right away. I also asked for help with how to customise the colour and position of the download buttons that are on the customer accounts and download page. I was expecting some instructions but he hopped onto the site to code it for me!! :D Wasn't expecting this and I am very grateful that he did this for me! Thanks William!!

Absolutely amazing customer service and app with no sneaky upsells or anything like that. Highly recommended for anyone who sells digital products.
