New feature allowing to search by order # is way overdue, but very helpful.
Replacing an existing product with an updated version used to be very simple.
Now, to use the same product name, you have to delete the existing one and then add the new one.
Makes me nervous to delete before adding - what was wrong with the old process of
just selecting "add product" and having it replace the existing one (same name)!
Keep it simple!

This app is awful. Very glitchy and randomly stops fulfilling orders despite the products being set to fulfill immediately after purchase. There is zero support available. I will be switching apps.

It works perfectly with the security of Shopify. I never liked the idea of ​​uploading my files to some unknown company's servers.

Offers great control over limiting download counts. Have got good feedback from Happetive customers on using the digital downloads access.

Digital Downloads is fantastic for allowing customers to purchase digital products that are immediately redeemed via email. The only downside I've encountered to date is that they do need that email to get their products - It would be really helpful if the download link could also be on the customers account page or purchase history page so that we don't have to manually resend the emails.

The lack of API is a massive disadvantage when using the Shopify Digital Downloads app. As it’s an official addon, it should be accessible via the public Customer Account API.

Does the job. no search option means you need to filter through many pages to find past order. you could paginate via keyboard buttons k and l but this feature was removed. now i just take the order ID and replace that in the url to get from order to digital download page.

Really easy to setup and a simple process for my customers to download my dog mum breed prints.
