For my clients that download on desktop, this app works great. But for clietns that download my contents on their mobile, this is not working... Does anyone have better solution for digital downloads?
We have a customer that purchased 14 downloads and only received 10 links. I checked the download limits (all zero). The customer also fowarded me all the emails they received, so I confirmed only 10 links. What could have caused this and how can we fix it?
Hi, there! I'd be happy to take a closer look into this for you. The one thing that comes to mind is the customer having some sort of filter that began marking the digital deliveries as spam. This app is absolutely worthless and, just like everything else on Shopify, they don't have a clue how to fix anything and I always end up having to go spend money on an app that actually works. This app does not allow you to control when the digital download is sent to your customer, so if you're using this app as a add-on download to a physical product, it won't send it to the customer until the order is fulfilled. We need the download link sent when the order is paid for. Seems logical, right? Yea, not to Shopify. You also cannot edit the email that's sent. Nothing about this app is useful and Shopify gives you the same answer they give every time...."We will send this to our developers to have a look at it". Yea, right.

While you can enable automatic fulfillment for digital products (https://bit.ly/3pvcVMq), this isn't recommended for digital products with physical components involved. However, one option is to create your digital products separately, so that our app can send the download links as soon as the order is paid for.

That being said, we understand that being able to automatically fulfill digital orders regardless of the physical components can be beneficial for our merchants, like yourself, and feedback like this can help our Developement team continue making improvements on future releases. I couldn't do business without Digital Downloads. All my products are digital and this app handles them all, integrating faultlessly into my store and allowing downloads immediately after payment from Shopify's checkout and from the email sent to the customer.
A bulk upload feature would be handy for getting all the files into the store quickly. But hey! Doing them one by one is a good activity for the end of the day when you're brain-dead and shouldn't be tackling anything requiring intelligent thought.
I don't know if it's just me, but I've been using this app recently, but I kept getting a 504 Gateway timeout message. Then it told me the app was outdated. But after a while, the app worked absolutely fine. Is the app working OK?

This app isn't working... Emails showing "not sent". I made a promo for customers to get a free eBook with purchase of a particular product, and none of them are receiving the emails...

There doesn't appear to be any way of automatically fulfilling digital pre-orders. I will soon have several hundred paid pre-orders, but the digital file will not be ready for another 2 weeks, and I don't want to have to go in and manually fulfill every single one by hand. I would happily pay for an app that added this functionality and worked 100% reliably! Also note that in the last year about 5% of my digital product customers were never sent a link to their paid order. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Ok yes it's free, but it's annoying that when uploading and saving the file I get that kitten and 404 page and have two do it twice to work, I swear that kitten would have got it now if it was real.
Also why not a link where the customers can see there download ( new and used) on the customer account page, and emails going to spam, customers complain the chart has not been sent when it has then I get customers complaining.
Could be one of the best apps on shopify if they listened to us reviewers
Have been using it for a month, with many downloads completed from our customers. Works very well so far, and it was very easy to setup.
Definitely 5 stars!
