KartDiscount ‑ Coupon on Cart

I used the KartDisount App to bring the discount code box onto the cart page, so that I am able to run quantity breaks with Awesome Quantities App and also offer customers unique discount codes. The support with installing the app was great and quick to respond.

Overall works well, took a couple of tweaks working with support to get it up and running properly. But ever since it's working great.

The features adapt perfectly to the design of my shop and work as they should. I contacted the support and they were very fast, patient and helpful.

Very useful app, customer service ready to help, I wrote to Lichi, very good.
At the moment I have not encountered any problems.

Needed an affordable app that allowed stacking discounts, automatic discounts, and a discount code display in the cart to better retain customers. After trying a few other options, this one worked and looked the best. Getting everything setup was also pretty easy. I had an issue with the discount field not displaying on mobile devices. Customer service took immediate action to fix it. So far everything works great.

Very limited team and unclear working hours. Needed to contact several times to have things managed properly. Considering a paid app, and not a cheap one, that was too late and at the end we searched for a more suitable solution.

Great app however help desk is horrible ! No one seems to reply ever. Stuck with the same issues again and again and none of the « help desk » way to reach seems to work

I like. This app because its very simple to use. I also like the customer service. Navneet is very gentle and takes his time to answer my questions. I recommend this app.

The installation process is a nightmare and the customer service is horrible. After we paid $28 for the stack discount feature, it did not even work properly and the customer service team did not respond to our support request in a timely fashion so we ended up having to install another app. They claim to be available via chat 24/7, but that is not the case. Do not bother downloading this app. It is also filled with hidden fees.

If you don't know how to give your customers the option to apply coupon codes (one or multiple) before checkout (in the cart), KartDiscount is the app for you! Supreme customer service! I had a big problem of how to combine discount coupons with bundle discounts. Apps responsible for Quantity Breaks are created in way that bundle/combo costs come as draft orders so Shopify does not consider them as discounts. This makes it impossible to combine discounted bundle prices with other discounts. So the KartDiscount team worked together with the Awesome Quantity team (a great app for quantity breaks) on my request in order to solve this problem and they've managed to do so! So now anyone who needs bundle prices combined with other discounts can use the combination of the two apps! Thank you guys, you've definitely improved my store! Recommend!

Does not know the thing why I Added this in the first place. And the description is missleading easy to miss this detial, the feature I need has a "$28 One-Time Setup Fee" so 4,90 wasted for nothing, I don't think ill use it , just cancelling it quickly in next month .
Update: after reading "New Bark City"'s feedback I rather just deleted it, I don't play russian roulette with my page,plusz every feature is "extra money". so 4.90 is wasted = one star.

terrible service.. ive been using long time, changed theme and now they ask 18€ to update hahaha so you pay 5/month, change themes, they ask u money, be aware of that... and the funny part, yesterday when changed theme, chat with them "kevin" asked about that, he sayd "yes we update make request..." this guys dont like to treat good old custerms, come from another store myself... now will choose another app ofcorse. be aware! here is developer responde after this review! so if you give 1star review now he dont ask 18€? anyway i ask him to setup up (one more time he say 2-3 hours, waiting since yesterday...) even with this review he speed up? ive straight away to a competitor (i dont need say the name...) and installation is AUTOMATIC! is done right away! stay away from this guys!! here is the response to see iam talking true and I HATE developers like this... We can give you setup as free and already gave 3 free setup. It is not a big deal for us but we are just trying to make you understand that every setup is done manually and take 2-3 hours.
We have to do the setup then check it thoroughly to see everything working perfectly or not. We will do the setup for you if that is just about the setup. Please remove the 1 star review as it affect us also. We will do the setup within within 2 hours.

This app should be the best one that I've ever used. With this app, we can create many automatic discounts, this is awesome. What's more, the support team is excellent, they help us quickly online, thank you guys to develop such a good app and support us with great patience.

I'm using another app for custom products that creates drafts of the orders and Shopify has not figured out how to get this to work with discounts so this app does exactly what I needed it to do. Setup was extremely easy and they did it pretty quick.

Really having an outstanding experience with KartDisount support team. I am having issues which cause by installing other app to my store, and I tried to do the discount stacking on my store, so I found KartDiscount for help, and they solve my original problem which caused by other app, and also help me to install the discount stacking feature on my store right away, really recommend to any people who are trying to do the discount stacking on their store. Really recommend their service.

Customer service is great. Kevin was very patient and understanding on what I was trying to do. Totally would recommend!!

There is more to the app then it seems and with 5 star customer support with a live chat, they where able to make sure that everything was able to work, exactly as how I needed it.
Do note that since I have a lot of custom adjustments and apps, I needed to an additional amount for custom integration, but was completely worth it and they where able to get everything running, very quickly.

The app has great potential. It runs very smooth. However, the installation process is a bit of a nightmare. You will need to wait for 12 "working" hours before it can be installed by the team even though it states within 12 hours of app installation. In total, I waited 16 hours just for installation. After it was installed, I had to wait again for adjustments to any design changes. After another 5 hours of waiting and no changes made, I gave up. Their response was that nobody can do the design requests in 5 hours. Sorry, but this app is not free. We paid for it and there are plenty of other apps that can do the changes within 5 hours. I already know a few on top of my head right now.

For sellers spending on ads, you know how important time is. Overnight I had about 6 customers who messaged me how much the total was after discount. This was because the "total cost" after discount in the cart page was not set up on my cart page by the team, which i requested prior to waiting and going to sleep at 3am. Keep in mind I had already waited 16 hours, and stayed up until 3am to wait for this app to be installed because I had to disable the other discount app to prevent users from being confused. The developers are based in another timezone and being in the US, I had to wait until night time to hear back. The customers ended up leaving my store and costing me money because they thought the discount did not work. This also did not include potential customers that did not message me. I was very frustrated because this was a loss of several hundred dollars. My store tends to have a fairly good conversion rating. Even the other free cart discount apps convernted for me because they notified visitors discount will be applied at checkout. But because the total cost after discount was not implemented, it confused my customers because they thought even after the discount, the price was still the same.

I also seriously suggest the developers to implement a way for users to manually install and have the ability to adjust styling and design changes themselves. At urgent times like this, we cannot afford to sit and wait for 16+ hours when we're running several hundred dollars in ads. Imagine if we were spending thousands on ads? This app does not allow us to install ourselves or make and design changes, and we have to heavily rely on their support team during "working hours".

My suggestion is to either hire more reps to help install your app outside non-working hours, or state clearly in the app description that app installation may take up to 24 hours. Also include a way for users to manually install in the case that you guys are unavailable.

Update: They fixed the problem and helped me looked into the problem within 3 days. Customer support is definitely better than the other Apps out there.

Great app, and great customer support! Does exactly what it says it does, and it actually works with others apps such as the slide cart and automatic discounts. I had an issue where discount amounts were not updating when new products were added to the cart, and it was solved within a couple of hours!

I installed this app and had issues getting it to work. I reached out to the support team and they were 10/10 helpful and even installed it for me! Now my customers can apply their discount code in the cart level and my conversions have definetly gone up! Thanks guys.
