If you're looking for a great app with the most incredible level of customer service that I have ever experienced in my life - LOOK NO FURTHER!
I have tried many apps that I was never really able to use because the support was not there. Questions went unanswered and help never arrived.
That will not happen here.
You're in GREAT HANDS with Discount URL. This company should teach other developers how to treat there customers.
I requested a refund as their app did not work once with my theme. I have paid them 3 times in a row and their app did not work. Their support was terrible and took to long to work on my store properly. I can't pay for a app if it does not work and can't just pay for support.

You installed on November 28, 2020 and uninstalled on January 19, 2021 and benefited from a 14-day free trial. As discussed via email, your claim (paid 3 times in a row) is indeed incorrect.

Just like a similar review put it, we really wanted to love this app but we just couldn't get this app to function properly. I'm envious of the stores that were able to use Discount Ninja with no problems. We tried for 3 months but it just wasn't worth it.
Our biggest issue was trying to get Discount Ninja to work with our cart (Rebuy) as well as Shopify Scripts we had live for shipping. It took about a month or more to get a lot of the issues ironed out. When Discount Ninja was live on our site, we constantly had issues with discounts not showing in the cart, prices reflecting incorrectly, the subtotal in our cart would render 25 more subtotals on the cart, free gifts showing on multiple products when it should only be one, the app editing prices on our orders after it was placed, our console was riddled with 50+ errors all coming from Discount Ninja, not to mention it slowed our cart down to where it was embarrassingly slow.
At first Customer Service were all extremely helpful and willing to help resolve these issues, but towards the end it felt like the simply got annoyed with us reaching out and a lot of the times we would be told "We can't reproduce this issue" or "this is an issue with Rebuy."
I talked with Rebuy and I'm 100% confident its not on their end. I am the web developer for our store and I could see that each issue we ran into was with Discount Ninja.
We missed out on tons of money during sales, with promotions not working properly, free gifts and add ons not showing the correct discounted price, by customers abandoning their cart due to prices being incorrect or cart being too slow, etc. Not to mention the manpower that was put into this app daily, trying to get it work while also paying for it monthly. They did refund us, so for that I thank Discount Ninja and its honestly the only reason why I'm not giving it 1 star.
Since cancelling Discount Ninja, we switched back to Shopify Scripts and still continue to use Rebuy for our cart and we have had ZERO issues and our site score has gone up 10 points.
I would love for Discount Ninja to resolve these issues on their end, work a little better with apps like Rebuy, not cause our site or cart to slow down as much it did, and ultimately to be 100% working with no bugs.
App is extremely flexible and effective. Bart and Andrea in customer support are excellent. It gets my highest 5-star rating.
I installed the app and then tried to install companion app so that, along with the automatic discount, I could offer a discount at checkout. The app hides the discount field at checkout and a companion app needs to be installed in order to correct that. I attempted to download and install the companion app three or four times. Each time I was redirected to a url that didn't exist.
I emailed support and heard back only once. Their email instructed me to use a different email address. I sent three email addresses to that address (the original and two follow-up) and never heard back from them.
As a result of this, I lost sales. I had advertised a discount with free shipping and wasn't able to offer the free shipping due to not being able to install the companion app.
I am very disappointed with this app and it's developers. Their tech support is terrible, at best. I recommend using another app instead of this one.
This is my first ever review for an app for Shopify. First I want to say this app is totally a joke to use - it offers a function called 'tier-discount' that allows you to set different discounts at multiple tiers of a customer spent in one transaction. I have set two conditions of a fixed discount amount at two levels at first, but the system converted the discount into percentage discount by itself without noticing me, that causing a further discount as not what I expected in the deal. I then contacted the team about this, although they made a refund of one month subscription that not even enough to cover my loss in the deal. What they replied to me was '... per our terms and conditions, we do not accept liability for issues encountered when using our app or services...', this is the worst statement ever made by a service provider escaping from any responsibility in which the problem is obviously the app itself but not the user. Think carefully before using this app, this is my warning.

This technique works really well for many of our customers and combined with our Dynamic Pricing is unique.

Discount Ninja is AMAZING when you consider the fact that Shopify DOES NOT make it easy to adjust behavior at checkout. They have found a way to offer stackable and highly complex promotions that work all the way through to checkout. Creating a promo code does take a bit of practice but with the new programming updates, it's all much more intuitive. I highly recommend this app!
Please don't use this app. I could go down a laundry list about why this is the world's worst app. Seriously stay away

We had an exceptionally frustrating experience with this app. We used it to launch a huge Black Friday sale with a threshold discount (buy $150 get X% OFF, buy $250 get Y% OFF). The discounts were supposed to automatically populate based on the cart totals for customers. We correlated our FB ads and all social media along with a huge email push to promote. The app CRASHED the night we launched the sale requiring me to create several fixes with discount codes and babysitting the site until 4:30 AM to make sure everything was working. Remember: all of our marketing was timed to launch at the same time the app was supposed to create the sale. So, at one point, we had about 60 people on our site looking for the discounts and none were to be found until I created banners, popups, and sliders with quickly created discount codes. It was a mess. Finally, Discount Ninja's tech department let us know they had fixed the problem and things started working again.
During the 5 day sale, we received 12 messages from customers letting us know the discounts were not applying to their carts automatically so we had to deploy more discount codes. The whole reason for using the app was to avoid making the customer use codes! So, that was 12 saved sales but WHO KNOWS how many customers didn't reach out. Despite all of this trouble, we had a pretty successful sale but I think it could've been far more successful had it actually worked consistently for all of our customers. Additionally, the app turned off too early and when I tried to turn it back on, it was so glitchy that I had to create yet another campaign to fix the fact their app stopped working. The "end time" was impossible to change to the correct time. Each time I would save the correct time, it would revert to an incorrect time. I do NOT recommend this app. It is glitchy, inconsistent, and cost us a bunch of sales.
I tried this app and it didn't work. They reached out and supposedly fixed it, however today I've had 2 sales where people got their entire order for free due to some screw up with this app. Uninstalling, I'm done. Don't bother contacting me.
