Awesome app that does all the things you've been hoping for when it comes to displaying discounts. Customer support team is quick to respond and resolve issues. My ONLY complaint is that it's a pain to install and requires the team to do it for you if you're code illiterate. But I do get it, because it involves editing some pretty intricate parts of your back end. Overall, highly recommend.

Automatic discount doesnt work properly. Really annoying and frustating. Eventho I did everything right.

The app features are great in theory. But the customer is SO bad that its pointless to even try. I installed the app and asked them for support - so the guy said - "yes we can assist you, but it can take a week or two" So I uninstalled the app. Then someone else reached out from their team to me on email saying "did you have a bad experience, I can help setup everything for you quickly and properly". So I said "sure why not"! After reinstalling the app, the guy who made the promises vanished. Someone else started emailing and said the other guys not available. He said, "I will get the fixes done asap". Two days later I mailed them, they didnt reply. Three days, 4 days, 5 days - no reply. So i reached out on their chat and told them what happened - He was seeing my messages and deliberately chose not to reply. What was I asking for? Alignments were messed up, the slider cart kept reloading, and when free gift was getting added to cart, it was not showing as free. full price was showing. their code was not working. I just got so annoyed from their customer service and all the lies and redirecting that it was not worth the app. Good luck to your team. If someone else comes up with an app with similar features, id try that but never from your team again.

it's the worst application I've ever seen in my life, believe me for all those who read this comment I strongly advise you not to install it, considering the 4.1/5 rating I had my doubts but I told myself I'm going to try it anyway! but when I tried it it's really a disaster this application and their customer service even more! it doesn't even deserve 1$/month

I had an issue with Discount Ninja After downloading multiple discount apps on the Shopify App Store, none of them would accept free shipping as a discount code. I assumed it was because shipping differs depending on location. I could not run my Groupon campaign without the discount code for my buying option and free shipping together. Discount Ninja allows me to do just that! I have not got into anything other discounts, yet because I don’t need them, but it looks like it has everything you need for an online store. Once I synced the app with my store I immediately starting setting up the app when I encountered a problem. When I clicked on install and sync assets, I would get an error message saying “The app is not (fully) installed on the live theme or test”, so I contacted customer support and within less than 10 minutes, Andrea was helping me with this issue. She helped me troubleshoot some issues but the issues needed collaborator access. I was then contacted by Eloy telling me the issue was sent to developer support. I was then contacted by Bart telling me the issue was sent to him and in less than an hour, of him getting the issue, the issue was resolved. In a matter of fewer than 3 days, the issue I had, was resolved. Besides the days, I appreciate the attention of the people involved on this issue and I appreciate the team feel the company evokes. Definitely look forward to any future products developed by Limoni. Alonso

After trying out over 100+ apps in the last 5 years.... Discount NInja had by far the best customer support I have ever experience in the last 24 hours of installing the app. We were trying to get the app to do something specific in the cart page and a few errors occurred in the process. So, we did the onboard assistance and they worked on the issue, a staff member got on a call with me to make sure 1. the app functions the way we want it to and 2. all of my questions were answered (which were many... to make sure the app functioned the way we wanted to) I truly appreciate this level of support. Thank you again Bart (discount ninja member who assisted me) and Discount Ninja staff.

Bart the developer went above and beyond in helping me get on-boarded with the app and all of its features. With his help, I truly felt happy with the service and features. This a great app for running promotions and has many more capabilities than other promotion apps I have found. Would recommend!

Amazing customer service Responsiveness was super fast and helped us resolved conflicts with 2 different apps, where the other customer service's barely even responded to our requests for help with our compatibility issues.

Really loved this app! Been using this app for almost a year. It allowed me to promote multiple promotion at the same time and super easy to use even on your first try. Their support team are also very helpful and they reply promptly when you ask them questions! Great job, great team. I have also submitted a feature request. Would love to see more great features in future.

My main reason for using this app was so my customers could use 2 discounts which Shopify won't do. This feature worked. However, the list of negatives HIGHLY out weighs this one good feature. When you schedule a promotion to start automatically, it doesn't. I had to activate manually. I had it set to start a midnight and at 12:04 I had to go activate myself. It took another 5 minutes before customers started seeing the discount on their end. Well... some of them. This made for a huge headache refunding differences. The next issue is carts already made with products in it won't see the discount. They have to clear them out and restart their browser. This doesn't always work though. There were customers with browsers open and then added items hours into the sale and they still couldn't see the discount. I kept telling my customers to clear their history and restart everything or use a different device and they still had issues. The discount wouldn't show up. This is the 2nd sale I used with this app and both times I had these issues. I have many unhappy customers who didn't get the discount and a lot more work fixing hundreds of orders! If you want to pay for a headache, this is the app for you!

I tried many discounts apps before this one and this app finally has every feature I need. Sometimes I want to discount certain stuff, but only 1 max. and I want to combine multiple discounts in one cart AND have the ability to still use a coupon code. While this app is harder to use than many others it has the most features and you can customize everything, which is really important for our store. Thanks a lot!!

After the migration, a ton of our promotion statistics were gone. Bart went above and beyond to help rectify this issue as it was vital information for our discount program. Without the ROI we would be in the dark when we started our next promotions. This app is an excellent option for adding discount codes to any online store!

It's really simple, Discount Ninja brings in a lot of revenue. We tried 3 discounting apps before finding DN. It has very comprehensive displays of discount pricing and offers to our online shoppers, and that helps close sales! The support department is very responsive. It is the best app we have for Shopify.

Update June 13th:
We have been able to increase our ROAS significantly since customers are able to see exclusive discounts. We have also been able to utilize our email marketing beautifully with the best results we have ever had.

--We still hope they can make this app faster.

June 7th:
A God Send App! Abandoned Cart Recovery went from 3% to 14% in 7 days!

We've been struggling for two years trying to give exclusive discounts for a limited time directly to customers who came from a specific source or link but we couldn't until this app!

We were looking to give our Facebook customers a unique discount so we don't have to keep our store on sale ALL THE TIME! But now we are able to give customers an exclusive discount for a Limited Time (use the timer in the app).

We used to have our abandoned cart recovery rate at around 3-4% and it was a struggle to even do email marketing since the products are on sale all year round.

Since using this app, we were able to remove discounts from our store directly (made it an actual brand instead of a cheap stake on sale all the time) and give exclusives to Facebook and abandoned cart customers after the discount expired.

Giving a discount when the offer has expired is beyond amazing!

Now we are planning to take the abandoned cart recovery to 25% at least and we believe we easily can! Plus, email marketing now makes sense!

We do believe there could be many ways to make this app load faster and show offer faster so we decrease the bounce rate as well!

Using this app to create discount promo's & free shipping offers etc. So far so good, very easy to use building blocks & triggers with good customisation options. Had some issues with one of my campaigns not activating correctly, but was quickly rectified once I contacted the DN support centre. Looking forward to seeing great results over the coming months.

Initially the app is not how I intended to use it but Andrea and Eloy from the support team responded quickly and helped me throughout. Keep it up guys!

The app looks fantastic, but as a small store, the prices are way too high. We don't even have a lot of traffic but the prices would be 70€ a month. The support I spoke to was of an arrogance I never experienced before. Sadly i'm going to pass this one.

I installed the Discount Ninja App and I am not technically savvy, so I reached out to their customer support. Andrea responded and was excellent! She walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. I am extremely pleased with the service and very excited about the upcoming results using the App.

Our store needed a last-minute app for our Black Friday sales as our previous app was not up to scratch. Within two hours, we'd set up Discount Ninja across our whole store, there were a few issues but these were resolved within 10 minutes, the support team is excellent and active around the clock. There are a few smaller bugs that are prevalent in the app, but I have been assured these are being worked on. So far, the app has been excellent and the customer service has been top-notch, I'd definitely recommend this app if you're looking to provide automatic discount and discounts triggered by links on your store.

Really great app to use. I had some very specific ways I wanted to discount products and this worked great. When I couldn't figure out how to set on of the offers I contacted the support team and they got it working for me almost straight away. Great Stuff!

I contacted support and got BART who spent ʜᴏᴜʀꜱ scouring my site code, dedicated to working it out, all the while staying prompt with his replies and assistance. It turned out I had another discount app installed that was blocking their app from working. It is all fixed now and I'm very pleased with their highly dedicated customer support ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Currently the best app on the market when it comes to discounts. The app is not bug free or a one click install but the support team will go above and beyond to respond fast and offer quality service and guidance.

My store uses this to apply discounts depending on the number of products bought from a vendor. For example, if a person buys 2 items from vendor A, they get $10 off their purchase. This app also helps me to apply multiple discounts to a cart.

Bart and the team is super friendly and helpful and have created an excellent app.

I am moving my star rating from 1 to 4 because of the customer service. If I do have a problem then it does get addressed right away. I like this very much. They really do care about your experience.

I still want BOGO, for me that's what turns this into a 5 star app. I need to be able to do a discount with a bogo, I need to do custom bogos.

The powerful ability to configure everything about my promotions and discounts, the granular control over messages and display on pages, and the thorough thought and coding that has gone into this app is just amazing!

This app has massive potential - I like the ideas it has and the interface it uses.

The problem is each thing I tried to do with it didn't work and I had to contact the support each time. I do not have time to wait around for fixes for rudimentary functions.

The product search function responded to every word in the term rather than the whole phrase, meaning a simple 3 word product title search would return every product matching one of the 3 words. The devs did make changes to this within 24 hours which was good, but it shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. It can only search via title, not via SKU.

The critical issue was a sale wouldn't respond to changes, leaving a default animation on discounted prices firstly which I didn't want. I then tried to turn the sale off and it wouldn't turn off at all. This is a big, potentially costly bug in my view, and if something like this exists this app should not be on this app store yet - no matter charging customers for it. I disabled and removed the app shortly after to resolve the issue.

The app also does not change prices in the "compare at" field within Shopify itself, rather it creates a discount code which is applied in the Shopify, causing knock-on effects with other apps or automated collections, as well as PayPal and Google checkouts. This is logical but should be considered within the setup of your store.

Very happy with this app, i have been using the site wide discount popup and it has been converting very well. I love the layout, it looks professional and the fact that it has a timer for the code is great! Love it and would definitely recommend it :)

Didn't work... at all. I installed this app, it didn't work so I reached out to the developer. They said they would get back to me and they haven't. It might be a great app but I wouldn't know because it literally wouldn't open for me.

I looked hard for a coupon app that would allow me to post onsite coupon ads and Facebook ads. This program is powerful and gives you a lot of flexibility to set up codes. My clients no longer have to type in coupon codes as they are automatically applied in the cart. Best of all unlike many apps they have great tech support chat.
