Dondy: WhatsApp Marketing+Chat

We use Dondy for our pet supplement brand and it's become a core part of our business: abandoned checkout recovery, template campaigns and the AI chatbot that talks with our customers on WhatsApp every day. But what really deserves this review is the support. I had a call with Alon and in 30 minutes he answered every single question I had, clearly and patiently, he even helped me build one of my automations on the spot. It's rare to find support that actually solves things instead of sending you documentation links. Great app, great team. Highly recommended for any Shopify merchant selling through WhatsApp.

Since I started using this app, my WA Business account has been repeatedly restricted for alleged automated, bulk, or spam messaging.

Almost every day, my account gets blocked for 6–7 hours, during which I can't send or receive any messages. This has caused serious disruption to my business.

I spoke with a friend who used Dondy, and he told me that his Fb Ads account was eventually banned after using their service.

I requested a refund of the credit I had added to my balance, but they refused.

This has been my personal experience. I recommend being very cautious before using this service.

Dondy is an excellent Shopify app!
It is very simple and easy to use, works perfectly, and integrates smoothly with other Shopify apps. It also offers so many great features and useful options.

But honestly, the real highlight is the customer support. The team is extremely helpful, willing to jump on video calls whenever needed, and assists with every small part of the setup process.

Has been one of the easiest WhatsApp automation platforms we’ve used. Simple setup, clean automations, fast message delivery, and great support. Perfect for abandoned carts, follow-ups, and customer communication for ecommerce brands.

We struggled quite a bit having two stores with different numbers, with their inboxes actually merging into one but we found a workaround. Their support team is quite active and responds quickly and they have a good attitude. They also listen to suggestions and look into implementing them. We are yet to actually use more of the features, for now we are just replying to WhatsApps but will soon use the campaign and automation features! :)
