Doran Product Reviews App & QA

We just installed this app on our Shopify site that is about to launch. I have been impressed with all of the functionality of the app--from the widgets for the site to the review emails. Their customer service is top notch. Anytime that I have had to contact them for a question, I have received a response within just a few minutes. I would highly recommend Doran!

I’ve tested many review apps since 2019, and Doran is by far my favorite. It offers all the features of premium apps — but completely free! I’ve already installed it on all my stores and plan to replace Loox with Doran on this one very soon.

The support team is outstanding. Huge thanks to Andrew, who spent a lot of time helping me import my store reviews. Honestly, the app is so good that I’d even recommend they start charging for it — it’s absolutely worth it!

They are super dedicated in helping us IMMEDIATELY when needed, and the app is SUPER customizable, much better than other ones that say they are free but they are very limited. I can customize it to my theme's font, my colors, I can import my own, request reviews through emails, this app and the team are excellent!!

How can they have 381 authentic reviews for an app that they don't have functioning yet? I wasn't able to get it to work and contacted support to be told they can't assist because, 'we don't have the store reviews feature yet'. They then wanted to charge monthly fees just to help upload a file.

Great Features & Stellar Support!
The Doran Product Reviews app has everything I was looking for – from customizable review requests to Q&A and widget styling. The support team is incredibly responsive and helpful with setup and adjustments. Although I’ve just started using it, the experience so far has been fantastic.

Love this app so far! I was using another app for reviews for a couple of years and always found it difficult to navigate. So far this app is 100 times better. Customer service was great - they helped me set up everything and answered all of my questions quickly - A++! The customization is great, I found it easy to import all of my reviews from Etsy, and I love that I can control whether or not to send email reviews automatically or manually (since all of our sales funnel to Shopify from different platforms, i.e. etsy, this is a great feature for us)! Thanks for a great app!

Unable to export CSV for Google reviews. As a E-Commerce brand, our customers have a lot of trust in our testimonials and reviews so it is an important component to get perfectly right. Unfortunately, this is likely not the solution, as it was not for us.

We are unable to export a CSV of our customer reviews from the app in any way. In addition, when we messaged support, they asked un the reason for wanting it in an informal response. After answering, Andrew responded with;

"Thank you so much for providing more information about that.

Because the exportation requires a lot of resources to export them. How do you feel if we do it for you with only $6/month?

All in all, not the greatest experience. The first few emails were each within a few minutes until we declined the informal "Upgrade" to get our CSV. At this point, we still have not received nor see any way to get this simple task done. Especially important when Doran is limited and only has integration for a few mainstream apps and channels.

That being said, it probably will work great if you have a relatively simple business model and just need "Reviews" and to show them.

We have a little business and we really appreciate any costs we can save. I am blown away by all the features - thank you emails, reminders, import options! This is by far the best and EASIEST review app i have tried!!
