About NS8 Download Tracker
NS8 Download Tracker provides full analytics for user downloads on your shop.
One key missing feature in Google Analytics (at least without coding) is the ability to see a report on downloads performed by your users. This app provides that feature.
Downloads are a key marketing metric. Important download types to track are whitepapers, product PDFs, and datasheets, among others.
If you are running campaigns, you can see how many downloads are being driven by them. In addition, you can also segment the downloads by dozens of other attributes, including:
- The channel and campaign
- Device data
- Organization (company/ISP/university)
- The likelihood the visitor is a bot
- Demographics of the postal code of the visitor
- Browser/platform and other client data and more...
In addition, you can export this data into CSV format for Microsoft Excel and other applications.
NS8 Download Tracker works by integrating a small script on your site, which will not cause any blocking or performance issues.
The Download Tracker app is provided the makers of NS8 Protect, the ecommerce-focused analytics and fraud protection solution specializing in campaign fraud detection, order fraud protection, and reputation monitoring.

Looks awesome. Installs instantly, no coding, looks like great Analytics, what's not to like? :)
Works perfectly. They were right about no coding. You don't have to do a thing and it shows you what files are being downloaded off your site.
One issue - it only tracks starting from when you install it. Not a big deal, but I was hoping to get history.
