Downpay: Deposits made simple

Downpay is a great app from a great team. This flexible, API-driven product has unlocked several critical capabilities and growth opportunities for our business. They've been extremely responsive, flexible & patient with us during our re-platform to Shopify and with ongoing feature requests. I recommend highly to anyone looking to provide flexible payment and scheduling options to customers, and to protect their own high-value inventory.

This is an excellent product that allows our store to take deposits for items not yet released which is extremely commonplace in our industry. Our industry is driven largely by preorders (and FOMO) and Shopify does not provide this functionality natively so we are very thankful that Downpay exists.

Downpay solved a critical pain point for our high ticket item sales which has caused a lot of headaches and manual work for our operations team having to email and in some cases call each and every customer in order to get their draft order invoice paid to complete their order.

Now with Downpay we can simply vault their card information while communicating when they will be charged their second half balance on their large order, then charge their card when their order is ready in 3 months rather than having to create multiple different orders to complete a single order.
