DropInBlog All‑in‑One Blog App

I had once been a somewhat satisfied user of Drop-in-Blog. But I've moved on. Drop-in-Blog seems rudimentary compared to SEOon blog builder (which by the way is free). Drop-in-Blog feels dated and limiting by comparison to SEOon. Drop-in-Blog is too expensive. And their 301 redirects for all of my existing blog articles is totally unacceptable. By the way, I used Drop-in-Blog for 11 months (as you can see from the review heading), so this review comes from genuine user experience.

The best thing about this app is the phenomenal customer service! We've been using DropIn Blog for a couple years, and I'm so impressed with how they've listened to users and evolved in capabilities based on feedback and suggestions when running into pain points. This app just gets better and better which means they care, and I'm here for that!

DropInBlog is a really great turnkey way to implement an SEO-optimized blog within your Shopify site. I love the way they provide clear instructions and actionable intel about how to improve your SEO score, so you can always make sure you're putting your best foot forward on that front. The plug-in also adopts your theme, so it easily matches the rest of your site. The true cherry on top is the customer support though. We've run into little things here and there that needed addressing, and we also get a reply within minutes that lead to a swift resolution. Highly recommend this plug-in to any Shopify user that wants to add a blog.

We've had a great experience with DropInBlog. When we encountered any issue, their support team stepped in immediately. They were incredibly responsive, understood our problem quickly, and resolved it in no time. It's rare to find support this efficient and helpful.

I'm still in the setup phase of the blog, but any question I've had has been answered fast, and in great detail. Plus I like the look and feel of the whole thing.

Update 06/01/2025: After using DropInBlog for a little over a year now, I wanted to update my review to further emphasise how excellent customer support is. I have had some issues that I have required support for which has usually been resolved within minutes by them team.

The support team are also developers, so are able to make code changes very quickly and I have been thoroughly impressed at how good they are at solving any issues I've had. DropInBlog is easily the best blogging platform for Shopify. Thanks guys!

Amazing response rate by the team who genuinely want to help you through the issues that you are facing. They always go above and beyond and provide helpful tutorials in adding certain features which makes the app really easy to use. The app itself, is one of the best apps I've ever come across. It has all the updated features and amazing look and feel to blog articles. A little expensive, but worth every penny. Highly would recommend!

We absolutely love DropInBlog - such a superior blog to Shopify's own with cool features like the AI voice recording of blogs which puts us in a completely different league than our competitors. It helps us to confidently write blogs that are perfect for our SEO and have resulted in us getting our first sale - before we've even launched thanks to the customer landing on our amazing blog page from an organic Google Search! Implemented a few months ago. Very happy so far. DropInBlog solved our Shopify blog limitation and allowed us to create a better blog with proper author pages. Love how it helps guide the creation of each post with an estimated SEO score. I have reached out to support twice so far and both times received answers/solutions within the 1/2 hour. For blogging on Shopify, numerous apps are required to add more features, and they charge monthly fees for these features, like the table of contents and SEO options. I decided to switch to DropInBlog to improve my blog. It looks much better and costs less because I could cancel many apps I used to pay monthly for. I plan to be more competitive in SEO ranking now as I go through my blog posts and update them with better SEO, thanks for DropInBlog. Support is also outstanding. They are there to answer every question I have. I love that!!
