Great app, been looking to code this functionality for a long time, but the user-interface and ease of use Variant Description OMG has created with this app, is unbeatable. Also supprot is super fast and clear. Mircea, was of great help!
Just started using this app, but my goodness! It has provided a perfect solution for being able to add variants with different descriptions! I made some custom code that included additional tabs for our product descriptions which was interfering with the Variant Description app at first, but I contacted the developer, and Mircea customized the app to work properly and allow the use of my own coding additions! Now I have multiple tabs in the product descriptions AND different product descriptions per variant! This ROCKS! Thank you!

This is by far the best app that allows you to customize different descriptions for each variant. I have tried the two others on the app store and this one is far superior. Great customer service as well! Highly recommend.
The app itself is exactly what I was looking for - you can customise the description, images, tables etc. for each variant very easily, without any need for coding! Aside from the app, the support has been incredible - I had a question about adding images and Mircea replied super quickly with a detailed answer and screenshots to explain. Really great app!

Excellent customer support. Replied to my email within 10 minutes. I had specific requests for the app that wasn't supported initially, but the developer quickly assisted me with custom code for me to integrate on my own site!
Works surprisingly well. Exactly what I needed. Can definitely recommend it. Even works with my Shopify 2.0 theme and all other apps.

doesn't support metafields with metaobjects

Unfortunately, this is technically impossible as accessing metaobjects in Liquid requires knowing the metaobject fields—which are not exposed by the current API. I needed to provide product specification details that changed for each variant. There is no built-in way to accomplish this in Shopify without some significant customization and multiple metafields. Variant Description OMG is an elegant and simple way to accomplish this. My theme required some customization to have the specs display in tabs and Mircea at Variant Description was quick to respond and make the necessary adjustments. Very pleased...
I just want to start off by saying I wish I could give this app 10 stars!
The app performs flawlessly and does exactly what I needed it to do for my application. This is something Shopify should have implemented out of the box, but I am so grateful for this app.
The customer service is even better! Mircea was so helpful with getting us setup and quick to respond to multiple emails.
If you're wanting to have specific content show on specific selected variants without having to hire a developer to change code. Get this app!

I was struggling with getting my metadata to update when the selected variant (color) changed. A page reload was always required. This app solved the issue immediately.

Easy and quick menu, works well. There wasn´t a translation so I contacted the customer service. They were really nice and helpful and solved my problem very quickly. Now a translation is available and the application works perfectly for me.

I would love to give this app a 5 star review. The app itself is simple and handy, and besides that, Mircea's passion deserve the best comments. I was struggling with synchronizing this app with Pagefly, and we found it's more complicated than we thought. However, after he's hard work and several emails he still solved the problem perfectly. The app works "out of the box" for most stores, however, when themes are highly customized minor adjustments are required.
Luckily our application storefront API can solve all types of problems.
