Please let us know how you get on with the direct link to the Google Survey opt-in pop-up when you've implemented it.
The app is nice. It does trigger the Google reviews. However, the page in which the opt in take place is poorly designed, and you can't change the look or the text. Contacting support gave only bot answers. No real human. Charging $20/mo for half baked app is too much.

You're right that you deserved a more helpful interaction and we apologize for the frustration. Under normal circumstances, we would have noticed the conversation wasn't progressing and stepped in to help directly. Our chatbot will always do its best, but it does have its limits, and our team is usually just a message away when you need a human touch.
Regarding the text on the opt-in page, our chatbot was actually correct on this one, the reason that text isn't customisable is that it's fully translated into many different languages, so that international customers are automatically presented with the page in their own language. Allowing custom text would unfortunately break this automatic translation. It's a deliberate design choice to ensure the best experience for international customers.
We'd be more than happy to help with the styling of the proxy page if you'd like to reach out to our support team now that the bank holiday weekend is over.
The easy Google Customer Reviews app is perfect for displaying and receiving customers reviews. It was so easy to set up and no coding is required. Customer service are fantastic, Steve helped us out so quickly when we needed assistance. Highly recommend!

Have been using this app for years. Then when Shopify went to the new Checkout Extensibility, it broke - pop-ups can no longer be used unless you revert to the old order status page, which is only a temporary fix. This updated app uses a different method to show the opt-in, and works with the new Checkout Extensibility pages. Support, if or when you need it, is excellent. Worth every penny.

After switching to the new Checkout Extensibility our google reviews opt in had not worked for months. Finally this app provided a solution. Easy Google Customer Reviews is super easy to set up and Steve was very responsive in providing support when we had questions. We highly recommend it.
