Easy Wholesale Locks for B2B

Part of our business is selling wholesale (in bulk) to retailers across the world. Some of our smaller retail clients like to place their orders online so we needed a separate wholesale website.

For the last year, we've done this by hiding our product pages with the liquid {% if customer %} tag.

My advice? Don't do it. It seems to slow things right down. That's not Shopify's fault - we're not ...

This password app performed as advertised. It allowed me to hide selected products from all customers except those I specifically allow. I ended up choosing EasyLockdown because it's price is lower than its closest competitor Locksmith. Plus, unlike Locksmith their price is fixed (meaning it won't increase should I ever decide to upgrade my Shopify plan).

I was trying to use Liquid to limit access to a Collection. After 3 hours I finally broke down and got EasyLockdown. 3 minutes later my page did what I wanted. My Vendor Collection is now only available to customers who have the Venter tag. Bonus, only $7 a month. Thank you EasyLockdown.
