SC Easy Redirects

Our store began to use SC Easy Redirects in October 2025. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, we became aware that our website was experiencing some redirects to an inappropriate webcam website.

Our digital agency ran several virus scans on our site within 2 two hours and saw nothing coming up as nefarious. As they dug deeper, they found that this app had the code inserted. I wanted to call attention to it, as third-party apps should be notified and held accountable if they are lacking in security and are vulnerable to hacking. This could have damaged our reputation.

I reported the security issue to Shopify as well. Security issues and hacking happen, but beware when installing this app.

Simple and Highly Effective
Nothing to complain about. The app does exactly what it advertises. I've used it to quickly fix hundreds of broken links (404s) and set up redirects for marketing campaigns. The interface is intuitive; you don't need to be technical to use it. All redirects are 301s, which is great for SEO. Well worth the money!

Enfin, ils demandent un tas de choses de manipulations (qu'ils peuvent faire eu avec autorisation boutique)
