506 EasyScan SKU & Barcode

What a great app! Originally downloaded to replace Shopify's terrible retail barcodes app. Easy Scan provides so much more control over your barcodes:

1. Most importantly it generates barcodes using the 14 digit unique variant ID, rather than the arbitrary ending 8 digits from Shopify's app, which caused issues with duplicate barcodes across variants.
2. It allows you to add metafields such as Product Short Name and anything else you want/need to add to the barcode label

Then we started using it to help our staff with picking and packing to ensure all of the products in an order were picked and packed correctly. This combined with the barcodes has led to a near zero rate of incorrect orders being shipped to customers.

The customer service is amazing! I've had a chance to meet with the founder 1:1 to discuss some of my use cases and within 2 weeks he and his team were able to make updates to their application to meet these needs.

Now, when a pack is completed, it automatically prompts the user to print an address label. This address label can have a barcode generated by either the order number or the order id (much more accurate). So that when the person buying the shipping label searches for the order, they can scan the barcode and immediately arrive at the correct order (removing the potential for human error in typing the order number).

I can't say enough about this app. There's so many functions available that we aren't even using yet but hope to use soon (such as doing inventory using barcode count). I only wish that multi-user support was available across all tiers rather than just the highest tier, but that is not enough to knock any stars off.

I have found the Easyscan app extremely useful for creating barcodes and its integration with my Zebra label printer. I had a slight issue with the Shopify app barcode scanner not reading my labels and Charlie was quick to get a meeting scheduled with me so that I could get my products labeled in time for my store opening. He walked me through how to properly customize my label size to work with the Shopify app scanner. It worked! It took less than 10 mins and I appreciate his time to help me. Great customer service!

EasyScan has been a game changer. We have had zero shipment errors since we implemented it. Super easy to set up and use, Charlie has been excellent in tweaking a couple of things to suit our needs, couldn’t ask for more. 100% would recommend this app.

This app has been a huge help for my wholesale business, we have over 20.000 pieces of jewelry in stock and each item requires a different barcode due to variants. Charlie has been extremely helpful and patient with helping me solve all the issues that I've encountered, hopped on a Zoom call with me AND made me a custom template for my special type of labels. This app is super easy and user friendly. The best part is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I needed help and Charlie set up a Zoom meeting and in 10 minutes had my question / issue resolved. A real pro!!! I knew it was user error on my part but just could pin point it. Charlie over Zoom saw exactly what it was and helped me correct it. Above and beyond! I highly recommend this app. We use it for our clothing and accessories to barcode items that we sell and easily scan the items at POS for inventory control and sales. This is the easiest hence the name EasyScan!

EasyScan was the exact solution our business was looking for. We have a unique business where sales reps grab products to bring to shows and silent auctions and this app makes it extremely easy to transfer inventory between locations and update inventory on the fly.
