Ecologi: Plant Trees per Sale

It has take very long to improve few aspects. Also the cost of tree planting is 20 cnets more expensive than buying it on the shop, that is not correct. Still does not offer an option to also let the customers to pay for funding the tree planting or now the carbon removal. This should be an option so that we dont need to cover all the costs. It would be great if your app could calculate the CO2 impact of the shipping from the products from origin to the customers place. Including products that are first imported and then distributed from a Warehouse for exampel in the UK.

We installed Ecologi for a short-term campaign and believed the program had been paused after the campaign ended and the donation was deducted. We removed all Ecologi-related content from our storefront at that time.

However, billing continued in the background without clear notification, and we later discovered a significant charge. The subscription only fully stopped after Shopify official support assisted us with uninstalling the app.

The concept is positive, but merchants should be very cautious about the billing mechanism and ensure they fully understand how to stop charges, as removing visible features alone does not stop billing

I love Ecologi and I'm bvery happy that we are able to use this app to integrate our existing work with them into our shopify shop (we already have been using the carbon offset for employees for a while now). The only thing I would love to see added is an option for customers to overcompensate the amount of carbon compensation, and maybe something like a badge? Currently we just coded the latter into the shop theme ourselves.
