Blotout EdgeTag

It took weeks to get a reply regarding a refund of $600 for add-on upgrades that were completely ineffective- this was after two years of using them. Our Meta pixel is littered with Velocity events that were never removed once the service was discontinued so I’ll likely start over with a fresh pixel now that I’ve uninstalled Edgetag. It seems they grew too fast to keep up with their customer service

Tried to use. Couldn't integrate as it wouldn't populate the DNS record. I had this error shown.

We're on Hydrogen so I assumed there was some integration issue but couldn't get past this step. Reached out to support 5 days ago to no avail.

"Adding DNS records is crucial for pixel to work as first-party. Pixel will not work without DNS set up."

After using Blotout for a couple months, we decided to drop them from our stack and noticed no difference. If anything, Blotout was taking credit for a lot of Klaviyo pixel events that would’ve happened anyway (it's very easy to spot check these). Event match quality in Facebook was marginally better, but I don’t think it warrants the cost or complexity. Install Shopify CAPI and save money.
