bad customer service. they use a 3rd party app to pick up calls and take your info down and no one gets back. i didn't use this app and asked to cancel it and just realized i was charged all these months after telling them i wanted to cancel!
We apologize that our customer service didn't align with your expectations. When you first reached out, we were happy to refund your Edit Order subscription. However, to receive a refund from Shopify, all Shopify apps need to be uninstalled first. Months later, we responded to your call within the hour, but informed you that we were unable to perform the original refund because our app had not been uninstalled yet. We're deeply sorry if there was any misunderstanding over this. As soon as the app was uninstalled, we coordinated with Shopify to refund your original request as well as the subsequent months of your subscription.
Would not recommend it. The app messes with both the total sales number and the order numbering. Both are SUPER critical for tracking your store.
Thank you for your honest feedback, and we're really sorry to hear about your frustrations with the total sales number and ordering number. Unfortunately, we're limited on how Shopify handles reports. We would definitely fix this issue if we could, and this is something that we have been working on with Shopify over the years, and hope that this will be resolved soon.
We do our best to be transparent about this and have a well-written documentation on how to filter out and get accurate reports. We are more than happy to help you filter out the reports to track your store accurately, please email us at email@example.com
The fact that you are selling an app that allows people to edit orders and NOT PROVIDE the function to send an order confirmation / receipt of their updated order with new total price is unbelievable. This should not be premium feature, its a BASIC REQUIREMENT after editing an order that they customer sees the new breakdown of prices and total cost.
We're sorry that your experience with us not what you expected. We've been diligent about reaching out to you over the last month about this and did not receive a reply. We do have the function to send an order confirmation and it's well documented here https://help.editorder.net/article/39-send-an-email-notification-when-updating-an-order and it does not require a premium plan.

This is genuinely a bad app, we are a small business and time counts it takes too long for a reply to help. It essentially messed up my orders and reports, best thing to do Is cancel an order and start again.
We're so sorry you weren't happy with our support. We received your request over the weekend, outside of our regular support hours (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM PST).
We came into the office this morning on Monday (4/29) and saw your request. We responded to you immediately and we're confident that we can help you resolve any issues you've run into. We look forward to hearing from you.
Claims to be able to uncancel order. I now have an order stuck in limbo thanks to this app. Support offers no help to resolve the issue.
Use the retail package for brick and mortar store. This cancels the original order, makes a new one with the edited items, and marks it as paid so you can't accept payment on either order. It also makes a mess of accounting. Hot garbage.
Sure, you can edit orders. Be prepared to have your Shopify accounting reports all screwed up and inaccurate. If you edit an order with this app, the extra money you're paying Shopify for reports will be inaccurate and worthless.
1 star because the app will duplicate your sale for the order you edit by cancelling the original order and creating a new order. This would be ok if the sales figures were adjusted too but Shopify's reports do not reflect the correct sales total after the edit. Also, once Edit Order creates a duplicate order in Shopify, there are no options to correct the sales figures or reverse the "cancel" status on your original order.
YOU NEED TO KNOW - I learned the hard way that the actual sale and money transfer remains attached to the original order even though Edit Order cancels it. What an accounting mess this app creates!!
2 issues why we have to switch and cannot use Edit Orders further:
1. Edit Orders doesn't carry over the payment history from the original cancelled order. This makes it impossible to integrate with QuickBooks because the integration tool we use pulls in the transaction based on the payment method.
2. The sales tax tables in Edit Orders must be incorrect or not up-to-date. On one of our edited orders the initial Shopify order charged the customer one tax rate, then when Edit Orders revised the order, it overrode the tax rate charged the customer, which resulted in us getting paid out less than we should have from Shopify and our sales tax liability reports to be inaccurate and cause a manual adjustment to be necessary.
I installed it to edit one order. It cancelled the first order, and created a new order. They are now both showing in my stats. My payments will now not balance with my shopify stats the way this is set up. Very bad.
