Installed app, still got lots bot accounts, then issues with theme appeared, deleted app but can see lots code left as always with apps that play around with theme, awaiting a reply from them to go in and remove all this code thats ruined my theme!!
Thank you for your review. We did explain why you were seeing spam and the recommended solution. After promptly uninstalling (without unprotecting your forms), our team informed you that unprotecting forms before uninstall is recommended and in our help docs. In any case, it seemed you were not willing to reinstall and unprotect them so we did request collaborator access and unprotect them manually.
A good app that does what it says. Easy to install and setup. Recommended for all stores.

Update: Not only does the app slow down my site, it threw some layouts of my sections off and completely ruined functions of some. For eg product thumbnails for Recommended products all skewed to the left, and 'Quick View' of products no longer work. Unfortunately fighting the bots versus ruining the site is just not worth it.
Slows down site speed BY A LOT.. So much so that I have customers in my inbox asking why my imaged are not showing and turns out they only loaded after minutes if you get redirected after signing up on a form that was 'protected'. Checked my Gmetrix and noticed a big drop in speed as well. Disappointing. I was hoping the other poor reviews weren't right.
We take performance very seriously and we adhere modern best practices. I'm not sure how the app could significantly slow down your site. We do use a Javascript to track anonymous behavior metrics in order to perform machine learning analysis for the user session. However, that script is minified, hosted on a CDN ,and served using GZIP compression.
I cannot comment on the effectiveness yet since I just downloaded it, however the customer service is fantastic.
I was having bot spam sign ups to my mailing list -- about 10 a day or more. I looked into a few different solutions and found this app! I am SOOO happy with it as a solution. It IMMEDIATELY stopped all bot spam sign ups and makes me aware of suspicious activity on my site. This was perfect!!!
Absolutely perfect and did exactly what it said it would do. Immediately stopped the annoying spam accounts that were happening daily.
