We used this app for around 2 years from back when there was no other competition but we have now thankfully moved on. 2 years of stress, problems, unhappy customers and worse.

To briefly explain, we have a large store, 8000+ items. All matched and imported from eBay, most of the time it works ok. But it is slow to spot new eBay items and even then, not all of them. This led to discrepancies of stock. Sometimes it would decide not to correctly amend stock. One of our final straw issues was finding that over 1000 items had never been imported dating back almost the 2 full years!

Contacting customer service with an issue was painful. I would explain an issue and then next thing "Thank you for your concern, I have now changed X,Y&Z on your website" this would normally have the opposite or a problematic affect on our website and wouldn't actually resolve the issue. Normally causing us more issues. One of the worst app experiences of my life.

This app has been so bad, my wife has commented on how often I complain about how bad it is. But back 2 years ago there was no company that did exactly what we needed except this one so we had no choice. It was so bad we actually took the plunge to move the week before Black Friday! Which was a risk, but I am so glad we did it.

Now there are loads of other options out there and most are much cheaper. Best of luck!

Tried to use this app for syncing 'inventory only' between my shopify and ebay stores. Both platforms already had all listings live, I just wanted to link stock via SKU which I was told was possible.

Straight away it was clear my needs were overlooked. My ebay listings were duplicated onto my shopify store (I use different style images on different platforms). So i had 2x every product on shopify for many brands/vendors.

Every time I raised the issue, I was told it was not possible for their app to do this. The proof was plain as day, as you could see the duplicate listings on my shopify store literally had my ebay style images. I had to point this out time, and time again before they would always eventually admit fault, and promise to resolve it/it never happen again.

This was not the case. Every time I added new products, synced the Inforshore app, the issue would repeat.

Every time they tried to resolve it, it was like they just restored my shopify store to an older version, which was not ideal as we'd lose a weeks work in updating our store, and whole vendors would get removed/go missing.

After the usual 'its not our fault, its not possible for our app do to this' and me having to take time out of the day to explain how its obvious (honestly like speaking to children) I had enough, and uninstalled the app.

They knew they were in the wrong, as I received my initial setup fee back, with minimal resistance.

Best part of their service was how quickly they managed to disappear and return my money, leaving me to tidy up the monumental mess they made of my shopify store.

How this is a recommended app is beyond me. I have since found multiple similar services for similar prices that work much better. Take extra time to look around, and DO NOT use Inforshore.

Dont waste your time or money, no support responces whatsoever once I paid for the app and then the app would only work occasionally which is not great when setting up a shop.. very poor service indeed

Paid for a one time 500 import plan (limited time offer). Used 222 of them, can no longer import anything. Looks like they changed something and removed / revoked the 500 import plan I had.

Horrible customer service, we have 2 ebay stores and they need to be reauthorized every day, half of our items dont sync and my emails have been ignored for weeks. waste of time and money

constantly stops working.. unreliable at best. Keeps making me look like a fool to my customers...... even this review platform is buggy

The app was good at first, although now it is not updating in real time. The listings from ebay are sometimes taking over 24 hours to import to our shopify store. As someone who posts our products daily on our social media platforms (an rely heavily on our social media following to convert sales) I'm now constantly being hounded by our followers asking where our products are, and why aren't they listed on the website? This is because they ARE NOT being updated to shopify in real time (like promised by the ap). I've reached out to customer service MULTIPLE times and they keep trying to tell me there is nothing wrong and it should only take a few minutes for items to transfer over. This is not true, the items are not transferring over and like I mentioned before, are sometimes taking over 24 full hours to show up on my shopify store. For example, I have over 30 products that were listed at 8 am this morning, its now 12:30 am the next day, over 16 hours later, and they are still NOT listed on my shopify store. If this issue isn't resolved soon, be weary of their promise to offer "real time importing" as that just isn't true.

App was great in the beginning, now only imports part of the items descriptions and customer service has not replied to numerous emails. Recently items have not imported after a day or more also. We pay more for faster syncing and priority service but we not sure if this app is being supported anymore.

UPDATE: It seems their attempt to fix the upload issue they reverted our entire store back. Now having to re edit all products on our website. Please be aware that they may edit your product listings without your authorisation.

They will also not reply to our email about these modifications to our listings.

Normally they are offering custom template but their support didnt make anything for me.a little deceiving.Be aware

If you require the unit price on your products, DO NOT get this app. It does not import the unit price. I have asked them to do it, gave them permission to my store and they changed something in the code, DESPITE the unit price being an option in the product view on shopify. They did not even implement it correctly. After they reverted the changes, they told me they would work on importing the correct thing. That was 1 month ago. They told me numerous times "We are working on it" "I will update you tommorow" (Sometimes didn't even update me the next day and straight up ignored me), but it is still not done. Would have been a lot better if you just said you are not capable of doing it, instead of wasting my time.
