Schedule a closure - holidays, a drop, an emergency - and Gate shows a waiting page instead of an empty store. Six templates, a countdown to reopening AND to closing, and contact capture with double opt-in. Then let people in early: create an account, install your app, reach a loyalty tier, hold a code. Each rung is something you wanted anyway, offered when the shopper actually wants in. Your store reopens on its own even if our servers go down. Checkout is locked for real, not just hidden.
