SMART Shipping Rates & Rules

We were already using the SMART Checkout Rules app, but ran into a dilemma today when our shop went to go run a special shipping sale for subscribers that required some specific shipping conditions to put in place. Unfortunately, Shopify by default doesn't seem to have the ability to choose which shipping methods a shipping discount can be applied to, and doesn't let you set customer tags or segments to a specific shipping method either.

This is where SMART Shipping Rates came to save the day in a pinch! I reached out to Reymar on the customer service team, and we were able to come to a very quick and flexible solution that solved my dilemma in a short amount of time, since the email campaign we were planning needed to go out today. Reymar was very friendly and knowledgeable, and by the looks of it, the app has quite a few very flexible features that could help solve a lot of Shopify shipping limitations in the future as well. Este app ha solucionado exactamente lo que necesitábamos para una operación de envíos compleja en Colombia: reglas por zona, contraentrega nacional y retiro en tienda conviviendo sin conflictos. La granularidad de condiciones y acciones es justo lo que un catálogo con logística mixta requiere. Pero lo que de verdad marca la diferencia es el soporte: tuvimos un caso en que una regla ocultaba el retiro en tienda, y un asesor lo entendió rápido y nos guió hasta la solución sin vueltas. Atención técnica, clara y resolutiva. Muy recomendada.

I was struggling with flat rate shipping fees and Shopify, and the app helped me to form a collection: tag it: add it to the shipping set up in settings, run the implementation and test. Very good. All working!
