Had issues with shopify/etsy sync after an in-person event. When I updated inventory in shopify post-event, it would not sync inventory with etsy.
A quick chat with tech support and they manually synced inventory. They were super patient with me during my own computer hardware issues and very helpful with my questions.
To help future folks (myself included), you must take your etsy shop off vacation mode before you make updates in shopify! But if you forget, contact DPL, and they will help.
It takes a minute to figure out the ins and outs on the app, but it's been very useful for allowing me to keep all my orders and inventory in one place. The one thing I wish I could do is sync an order with a custom line item. Right now, I have to pretend those orders don't exist in Etsy if it's a custom listing.
The support team is very responsive and understanding any time I need assistance.
The initial set up was kind of clunky as I had a large existing catalog. So getting all the parameters right to sync everything has taken time. But customer support has been helpful and things work smoothly after initial set up.
