We were able to sell a good amount of tickets, and were generally quite happy with the app. However, the level of service was not there.
Jeff seems like the only person who can help but he is often busy and cannot/won't look at your issue for months (5 months and counting). For the money paid, I just couldn't justify it and looked elsewhere.
There are other limitations to the app (they don't have email reminders, for instance, as well as not being able to check in customers with an Android phone, no easy way to export attendees, plus more).
I had enough and have looked elsewhere.
Kat, it's a bummer we couldn't resolve things. The issue you refer to was a feature request that I didn't believe to be a good fit for the app. If I implemented everything customers asked for, then this app would be a mess. I focus on a few important things and doing them well. Speed, reliability, and ease of use. When I consider new features, I weigh four things: how many merchants need this and how many have asked for it, do I instinctively believe this to be a good value-add, how important is this compared to other fixes or features, and finally, is this a good customer to work with. Unfortunately your request missed all the marks. I apologize if I wasn't clear on that - it's my fault that I didn't set expectations appropriately.
I do commend you on selling thousands of tickets with Event Ticketing.
Regarding the limitations you mentioned:
1) Yes we have email reminders that can be automatically scheduled X hours before an event
2) Yes we support check in and scanning tickets on Android using our Shopify POS Plugin
3) Yes of course we support exporting attendees to a spreadsheet, with very good filtering: by ticket type, date ranges, name, checked in status, and a dozen more.

Great app for ticketed events. It's easy to use and set up, and customer service has been prompt and super helpful.
Its awesome, it has every functionality you would want for tickets: one day, multiple, recurring. It has a check-in app, it has custom fields to collect for each attendee, it has every customization you can think of. Most importantly, the customer service is very professional, fast, and very nice.
It is a complete app ! You would be surprised by the capacity of the software and diversity of features. I would recommend to any organization. We do 4000+ tickets per month and only have good things to say ! We never had an issue or a bug.
This app is fantastic! And Jeff's level of support is unparalleled--always willing to help, and very quickly. We used this for our 2020 Covid-downsized drive-in Fairhope Film Festival and it went so smoothly we are going to try it for our 2021 back-to-full-sized film fest. I feel certain that this app will do everything we need very well, and anything that's a problem will be addressed easily. Thank you Jeff!
I subscribed to this app in order to create an event ticketing website, the website for various reasons couldn't be launched but Jeff was all the way always available to help and to answer quickly any of my questions. When I had to cancel my subscription, he kindly accepted to refund me both of the 999+$ bills charged, I have never seen such integrity online. I can only recommend his services eye closed. This product was used to sell general admission ticketing at multiple tiers to an event. The functionality of the app is simple and easy to manage and execute. App developer is very responsive to questions and suggestions.
Event Ticketing has worked perfectly for our needs putting on a Drive-In movie experience and hosting events. Customer service is EXCEPTIONAL-- haven't received quick and helpful responses like that from any company before. Highly recommend for your ticketing needs.
Customer support is the best I've ever experienced. always replied within minutes inside of live chat. I've been able to problem solve and learn in hyper speed. Don't waste your time testing or reviewing any other event ticketing apps because you won't find anything better.

The app's integration into Shopify is very strong and extremely easy to use, both the PDF download and Apple Wallet integration work well and the customization features are very good. By far the best and mosts feature rich ticketing app. Meets all of my needs and more and the support is extremely responsive. Not only that after researching the company you can see they have been in the industry for ages and have ticketed for respected companies. The only ticketing app i have had 0 issues with, amazing support, and THE BEST CHECK-In Experience by farrr! No ticketing app compares to this. This is my third one trying and the only one that had everything I was looking for already built in. worth every penny for the experience for my customers and the ease of use for myself as an event organizer. I am totaly new to Shopify and its Apps, but I am quite confortable with IT stuff. I needed to put up a Store and ticketing system for a serie of events occuring in three weeks. Therefore, the selling platform needed to be open in just few days!
While learning my way through the App I stumble upon a few problems that might require minute tweak on the programming side. Jeff from the chat responded quickly and could update the scripts in the back-end in an impossible time. Which I thought could take weeks to implement been performed to my great surprise, at least three times, so quickly that I could work post bug-fix within the hour. Thus having a very productive evening enjoying a cup of tea. Thanks to awsome Jeff!!
