Great support team, who is willing to help with some issues. In general a useful app.
We migrated Magento 2 to Shopify with it (still working on it but the majority should have been up).
Thank you very much for reporting the issues you found, and collaborating to solving those.
We have implemented the change that if using the legacy Metafield types in the import, and there is a Metafield Definition, then we will assume the type from the Definition without failing.
Please, reach to our Support if you find some other road blocks that prevents you migrating in a good way.

This is a super useful and seriously efficient app. It is a bit complex to learn at first, but it is indispensible for migrating a store (which we have just done) and for managing inventory, collections and metafields. The support from Renars is prompt, friendly and invaluable!

I wish I had this app when I started my business. It’s so simple to use and has literally shaved months off my schedule.
The support team are absolutely phenomenal and so quick to respond. Whenever we have questions they’re there to help and no question is a silly one.
We’ve used the app to bulk update URLs, titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, tags, and types for roughly 1,200 products, a project we had scheduled 3 months to complete, with Matrixify we had it done in a week, its seriously quick and perfect for larger catalogues!
We plan to use Matrixify to update the rest of the products in our store.
Shout out to Renars and Rebeka who have both helped out on numerous occasions.

This is a fantastic app with many features for importing data. I moved all my data from Magento seamlessly over to my first ever Shopify store. Their website is full of helpful video tutorials to guide the user through the export and import process. That is know how I know these guys make the best migration app on the app store. Although it takes some time to get the hang of, you don't have to be a master at Excel to use this app. And the support from the app developers has been amazing! Good job guys!

About the Magento migration - thank you for understanding that when migrated data was producing errors, that means that the source data in the Magento system where you migrated from, was missing some important details which are mandatory for Shopify.
Magento is much less strict in validation requirements than Shopify. For example, Magento allows to have customers with invalid e-mail addresses. Shopify checks each and every e-mail to be valid and actually that the mailbox on that mailserver exists. To guarantee you that if you have an e-mail in your customer database, then you will be able to send an e-mail to this customer.
The similar strict validations are for the phone numbers, and other fields.
E.g. you cannot create a Customer or Order in Shopify which has invalid data.
We could, of course, just "assume" default for those cases, like drop the invalid e-mails which were not accepted and tell that all is ok. But then you would miss on the opportunity to fix and improve the data you are migrating. As that is quite usually one of the goals of the migration - to use the chance and improve the data quality.

If I could give this app and this team an additional five stars I absolutely would. After finding the app I needed some guidance to use it configuring my SKUs which were pretty tricky. I contacted customer support through the chat feature (which was awesome!). Jelena was INCREDIBLY kind and patient and insured we found a workaround that still let me use all of the great features of this app. I'll be a customer for life with an experience like this one!
